They did arthroscopic surgery which is a small cut to insert a tiny camera to go inside and view the damage more clearly...They did that, determined it only needed a stem cell injection and he is expected according to Harbs, to be ready for TC and pre season....He was cautious because of last yr, but seems pretty confident....We'll see !!
Yeah that's what 98 Rock said this morning. They said that Harbs mentioned that we've been down this road before with Perriman so it sounds like everyone is just waiting to see.

He does seem like a very slow healer. What was it last year a bone bruise or something like that that caused him to miss the entire season. So yeah while they keep saying he will be ready for the season it does seem like we heard that last year and the start date just kept getting pushed back until finally time just ran out.

No, last year he made the injury worse during warmups before a game. At that point, he was nearly cleared to play.

Good to know. Just seems weird for so long to have the coaches and everybody talking about how he would be back soon even after he re-aggravated it yet then to miss the entire season. Any injury to the knee though and to ligaments you just never quite know how they will respond.

You're right, it's me

I'm so sorry.
Carry On

I just don't get your problem. You get after a lot of people on here for posting. I thought part of the point of coming to these boards was to interact with others. Just don't get why that bothers you so much.

If the Ravens could only stick a needle in their secondary....

28. Baltimore Ravens
Top CBs: Jimmy Smith, Shareece Wright, Kyle Arrington, and potato salad

Key stat: Smith surrendered six touchdowns last season, a career-high.

In the first four seasons of his career, Jimmy Smith surrendered only six touchdowns, a figure he matched during a disappointing 2015 season that also featured a career-high 10 missed tackles. A return to his fine form of late 2013 and 2014 (before injury cut his breakout season short) would be a boost for a Ravens’ secondary that is relying on veterans like Shareece Wright, Kyle Arrington, and Jerraud Powers to produce at levels that they have only shown sparingly.

Well, it's always a roll of the dice with these players but when you know they have the ability to play at a high level, all they need is some real motivation and demanding coaching and the possibility is high...
I think with Weddle and Webby at safety the cb's will be able to make more plays on the ball as Harbs has stressed since the end of last season, and actually created a specific practice for take aways....
JP is impressing in practice, so we hope he transfers it to the field of play and is better than Kyle....
Shareece started playing well by the later part of last yr, so they expect more from him and are very high on this new kid Tavon Young....
But the pass rush will take a lot of pressure off of the cb's this yr, with Suggs,Doom, Correa, Kaufusi....Williams and Jernigan in the middle don't hurt either....
That's where I think you'll see a drastic change for the better in 2016....
Let's Roll Ravens !!!! :D

Smith was still recovering from his Lisfranc injury last year where he had screws in his foot. No surprise his play went down last year. He's got the screws taken out now so we'll see how well he'll do this year.

It's the same every year. Posters from teams winning the SB post a lot, seems to be a natural thing. Still feeling the glow of victory and you feel like talking. Then you start hearing the complaints that those fans talk to much. :rolleyes2:
I say good thing they do post a lot, because in the off seasons, posts start dwindling down. At least they help stir things up.

I do agree Super Bowl Champs post a lot more as we do enjoy this off season so much more. There is no "if this had happened maybe things would be different" kind of thinking. Can't do much better than actually winning the whole thing.

Pday though likes to call out fans from a lot of teams. If you post a lot he doesn't seem to appreciate it for some odd reason. Not sure why you come to a message board expecting that nobody has posted. Maybe he hates @HammerDown and wants to see his message board fail. I don't know what his reasoning is but yeah I have seen him get after quite a few posters just because they like to come on here and talk sports.

PLEASE!!
now you're just talking out your ass. You know nothing about me.

Guilty...I tend to speak up from time to time towards the stick pokers / finger pointers with thin skin.

OH, and like 99% here, I tend to defend my point when required, but saying I want to see a website fail is really out there even for you dumler. I don't do drama well neither. I'll do my best to avoid posting in your conversations.

Have a good Day!

You have called out several posters just for the fact that they were posting. Again I just don't get it. Just seems funny that you call them/me thin skinned yet you are the one that has to step in and tell them that you don't like the fact that they are posting.

And the website fail thing was just a joke man. 99% of us on this site come here to have some fun and every once in a while poke some fun at each other. I don't think you are trying to make this site fail or are hoping that it fails. Obviously you post here a decent amount so if you wanted to the site to fail you wouldn't post or you would spend most of your time trying to convince people to leave the site. Again just joking around.

I'm sorry that I upset you that much and that you don't get my sense of humor. I'll try to me more clear next time I am making a joke.

I bet his grandad was a dick back when Dallas was relevant:thumb: he used to make PD get up and change the channel on the tv, yelling at him for turning the dial too fast.

I'll slap a funny stamp if for no other reason than effort.

being whatever adjectives you boys choose for me, trust I've had years of practice.

but, please note
I sat in the Cotton Bowl in 1966 and watched the first heartache missing out on SB One with a 34-27 loss to GB
