Klay did struggle a lot in that series. I wouldn't expect it to happen again, especially with the way they're playing right now.

Cavs fans point to their offense being supremely better, but it was their defense and slowing the pace of the game that really confused and flustered the Warriors in last year's finals. If the Cavs want to get into an up and down game with the Warriors, then that IMO heavily favors the Warriors.

The Cavs will not trot out a traditional center during the game, which really helps the Warriors seeing as it has been their weakest position so far in these playoffs. The Warriors have the moving parts to defend the Cavs 4/5 position and the threat of their outside shooting.

Both teams possess explosive offenses. This series is going to come down to who defends better. If the Cavs space the floor, the Warriors really have to worry about dribble penetration from Lebron and Kyrie. Alternately, the Cavs are going to have to worry about how they defend the pick and roll with Love and Kyrie.

I think a fast game favors the Warriors, but a slow game might favor them, too. I read somewhere that the average pace of a Warriors win the WCF was about 94, while the average pace of an OKC win was about 103. The Warriors seemed to have improved their half-court, slow game. Indeed, there were some arguing that the Warriors needed to slow the game down to beat the Thunder after the blowouts in Games 3 and 4. It looks like they were right.

I never denied he isn't just wondering why CL didn't like him bc one of his faves is the same exact way...that's all. But obviously bc he was a Laker.

Because he was a Laker is an easy excuse for you isn't it? Kobe was arrogant, but he never tried to make himself bigger than the game, he never team hopped and he never mocked an opponent during the finals.

Too bad you can't say the same about Lebron.

555 comments since the thread was started roughly 39 hours ago. That's 14.23 comments per hour. We've got 30.5 hours left until game time. At the current pace, we'll be at 890 comments, so we have a way to go.

I'll post more stupid shit (starting with this very comment) in an effort to do my part.

Ok, but I still don't see what your point is. Why are Cavs fans so hung up on who the MVP of the series was? The fact that Steph was in your estimation the 3rd best player in the series and the Warriors still won, should actually trouble you more than you should be happy about it.

Edit: And Klay was probably not even in the top 5 players in last years finals.

Cavs fans trying desperately to find some kind of hope to hang on to. :heh:

If they lose game 1, the sweat will be dripping from their foreheads until Sunday.
Then, the season would be on the line.

NBA and NHL really don't like to go Head to Head when it comes to their championship series. Like to give each other the spotlight

Also starting tonight would mean either an unnecessary break til game 2 because the NBA hates having their stand alone game on Friday/Saturday if they can avoid it

IF Cleveland can steal one of the first 2 at Golden State, they have a chance. And I would even say Cavs in 6 if they could pull that off. I'm pulling for Lebron and the Cavs, but I think Golden State will win in 6.

Well not in the Finals last year lol. Arguably, not in the playoff this year so far.

Lol he had like 1 bad game in the finals and that's because he was missing shots he normally makes. Other than that one game he almost average 30. Nobody on the cavs can guard him

Oh and Cavs hold them to under 100 EVERY game
That's gonna be tough when 40% of your starting five don't play defense. Golden State is going to light them up.

I'm just saying, you said you hated him bc of how arrogant he was. Kobe and Lebron are very similar actually...but Kobe played for the Lakers lol. If Lebron started with the Lakers you would be :fap: to him
ehhh....i totally acknowledge that LeBron can be an arrogant, egotistical ass at times.....however- he is not scumbag like Kobe...big difference there. LeBron has dumb a lot of DUMB things and egotistical things...but as of yet he really hasnt done too many scummy things - and Kobe has a few of those to his name.
