It's raw, you donkey!
Loving the concert posts, you guys have seen some great bands!
I'll throw a few of mine in: Seen Neil Young 4 times, twice on the Rust Never Sleeps tour. I had always been a huge fan of his and when he went "pseudo punk" I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I think the best show I have ever seen was Pink Floyd on the Animals tour at the Garden. When the show opened and you saw the giant pig among other animals floating in space, you just knew it was going to be an eventful night.
Saw Fleetwood Mac during their Rumours tour. And not with a chick. My friends and I were madly in love with Stevie Nicks back then.
Living on the Jersey shore, I went to clubs all the time, the most notable being the Stone Pony. But the coolest moment I ever had was while watching David Johansen at a place in Asbury Park called the Fast Lane. In the middle of his set, out steps Bruce Springsteen to jam on 'Personality Crisis'. I will never forget it.
Oh, and I also saw Sly and the Family Stone at the Fast Lane. Sly was not...at his peak at the time. Didn't matter, when they played 'I Want To Take You Higher', the roof blew off the place. Great times.
