I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch gets in. He won a Super Bowl. Shittyass players like Naimath got in for the same reason.

Lynch will go down as one of the all time greats for the Hawks and ROH indeed, but I think he falls just short of the HOF. If he does get in, it'll probably on his last chance ballot.

I think if he had some more consistent years in Buffalo and healthy , he would have a good shot

Maybe not Hall worthy, but he certainly made his mark in the playoffs.. He had some of the most epic runs at key moments...

Nope. I don't think he deserves it.

Side note: Frank Gore deserves it more than Lynch and I'm not even sure he makes it in.

I don't know about greatest but he and Chris Johnson could vie for ugliest. Maybe it's the metal teeth and dreds, I dunno...

Q and Hammer are so jealous of Brady they keep dogging him with BS, love their salty tears. Pats have never won 12 games in a season w/o Brady in their entire existence but have 10 x or better with him

They win in spite of his abysmal play.

Except when they face a Manning brother or Brock Osweiler.

And surprise, surprise, most people (including me) post that they don't think he'll make it into the Hall.

What other RB awards are you losing sleep over him winning?

He belongs in the hall. Fuck the stats. He had a 5 year stretch where it was him and AP as the 2 running backs that teams completely based their defensive game plan around and AP's a no-brainer. Half of a guys career he's the most physical back in the league and that doesn't get you in? I don't even like the guy. But I loved watching him carry the rock because I haven't seen anything like him since Earl Campbell. Just pure violence.

Not sure what 5 years you are talking about... I see a 4 year stint at best. That's where it becomes so tough... That's his HOF resume, not some decent years in Buffalo and not last year. 4 years, 1 SB... And it was a great run, 4 years where it was just him, McCoy and Peterson...

But I can't put him in over a guy like Terrell Davis... Who was SO MUCH more dominant in his prime. It's tough to push him up on the level of an Edge, Gore, or Stephen Jackson. Tough to say he's more deserving than Craig or TD... I don't think he gets in... Maybe because the HOF today is so skewed towards offensive players, but that would be the reason.

There's other Seahawk fans agreeing that he won't make it. Your fauxtrage is noted though.

No you can't because any time people talk about the best runs of all time Marshawn's "Beast quake" run in the playoffs vs the Saints will be number one or close to it.

I think you can make case for Marshawn that goes beyond stats. People get too hung up on yards and TD's, but that doesn't tell the whole story. If all you want is the players with the best stats then there's no longer any need to have voters at the HOF.

Marshawn Lynch may not have the stats that put him in the top 10 or 20 but there is little dispute that he was one of the most feared runners of all time and one of the hardest players to tackle there ever was. I've literally seen Marshawn bust through a couple tackles, have only one player between him and the goal line, and that last player step out of the way rather than try to tackle him. Dion Sanders laughed and called it a "business decision" when that happened.

Stats aren't everything is my point.

Your comments mean shit to me.

Thus you taking time out to answer, and ironically making this thread even longer.

Outstanding.
