I enjoyed it when UConn beat them in 04 despite the officials flat out making up calls to keep Okafor out of the game.

The inconsistency of hand checking fouls in atrocoious... if they are calling it they usually let more things go that should be called fouls and when they aren't calling hand checking (even when its obvious) they call everything

personally I think officials have been told not to look at people's feet but for the contact... I mean it has to be something like that

No problem with both those guys. I'll agree with Bobby Night 100% in that he won at IU with modern rules. And I have to give him some creds for making Coach K who he is.

Wooden doesn't get the full nod from me because his teams were bought and the NCAA tournament had only like 16 teams back in the day. But....I can see why people put him at the top with all those back to back NC's.

Coach K didn't get the nod over SU this year when SU won at Cameron due to a scrum pile the last few seconds. I think the SU player threw an elbow or two in there and came out with the rock for the W. Could have just as easily been a foul on SU.

But we all know JB would have gone off the top rope!

Duke NEEDED " 43 FREE ATTEMPTS " against LOWLY North Carolina-Wilmington to finally pull out a win with a minute left in the game. In other words, not only did the Seahawks have a narrow 3 point lead at half. UNC-W was in the game for 38 minutes. dUh

Oh, and one more thing. The Seahawk's BEST two players were in foul trouble the entire second-half, and UNC-Wilmington was still in the game!

Bottom line: The inept NCAA Tournament referee's BAILED out Duke, again! No ifs, buts or you're a sore loser.

Duke's always had issues against bigger schools in the tournament and this year they were not suppose to make the sweet 16 according to prognosticators. Schools like Yale are usually only good for one big round.
