So the spirit and intent of the SEC setting a max # of scholarships per year is to sign more and push them into the next recruiting class? I would think the spirit and intent of the rule would be to sign 25, not 26 or 27 and pass them off to the following year with grey shirts.

So you think pulling a scholarship offer is somehow better/different?

Let me give you a hint: They aren't signing any extras. That's the reason they greyshirt. It's like you believe there is this magically time period where you can sign any extra's you want.

How many times can I say I think it was shady to pull a scholarship, especially in Weaver's case? I'm convinced with Swenson it has something to do with his own actions as we signed a lower ranked OL to replace him.
And it isn't about a magic period where you can sign as many as you want. You act as if it is some secret -- top teams use roster manipulation to be able sign the max number every year. I believe you like to call it attrition. It is nothing more than trimming the fat so you can sign a max class. It is rinse and repeat. That is how to get around the numbers.

Are you incapable of following the conversation? You are supposed to be proving why it's a loophole.

I opened the Mixon video thread as I was curious to see if the video had been released. After reading your stupidity in that thread, telling a guy who went to law school, actively works those type of cases and you tell him he is full of shit and blab on like you know how the law really works.
I've come to the realization -- you truly think you know everything and even when someone points out the blatantly obvious, you make excuses.
While entertaining -- it is pointless to discuss topics with someone who is delusional.

Funny enough, the reality of what actually happened with the case doesn't agree with him. He is trying to claim that another guy, who went to law school and actively worked the case in question and had the actual facts of the case was full of shit and was doing things outside the law.

It's funny when peoples butthurt on 1 topic makes them blind on another. Maybe if you weren't a bandwagon fan who just appeared here, you'd be more familiar with smart.

As I said, in your reality, you believe you are always right. No matter how blatantly obvious the facts are staring in your face.

Are you suggesting you often argue for things when you believe you are wrong?

You made the quote yet I'm the stupid one.:pound: Between you and Hardbaugh, Bichigan U. has become a bigger laughingstock than Ohio State.
You are like the little dog in the cartoons that follows around the bigger dog and repeats what he says.
Do yourself a favor and stop -- it is very unbecoming and makes you look foolish.

OK SweetWalker, do yourself a favor and stop making stupid false claims. Still waiting for you to back up the 2 I quoted above and 1 or 3 more.

No. But I also don't have an issue calling my coach out when he is shady and bending rules, which you obviously cannot do. Hence the discussion.
Maybe it is just a trait you picked up from Saban. MAyre he actually believes he isn't pushing recruits out of their current class. I'm sure it is just a coincidence his class filled up and he makes recruits leave or grey shirt. :L

Moving them goalposts I see.

If the rule states 25 and that is the max you can sign. What would you call it if you sign the max push a recruit till the next class and call them a grey shirt, where they don't register til the 2nd semester?

Well the rules don't say you can sign only 25. That's where the count starts.

It's the 85 scholarship limit that is being respected here.
