I'm not a fan of Madonna either but as a child of the 80's she was everywhere and my girl loved her, I still listened to Priest, Queensryche, Ozzy, Dio and all the stuff I liked just not as much when I was with her.

Also, back then i'd much rather be with a girl who loved Madonna than a girl who loved the Dead, but hey that's just me...
