I'm going with:

Fiesta: Domers vs. tOSU: definitely the most "marquee" non-cfp game.

Alamo: TCU vs. Oregon: The "woulda, coulda, shoulda" bowl. Both were expected to be in the cfp or at least make a strong run at it. They're probably going to need 2 scoreboards for this one.

Holiday: USC vs. Wiscy: With USC going to a more physical style of play, this should be some fairly old school fotball. Plus, the Holiday Bowl usually ends up being one of the better games no matter who's playing.
Din't yall play in that one last year, too, vs Bugeaters?

Which will be the three best bowls this season?

Alamo: Oregon v TCU [1/2]
Peach: Houston v FSU [12/31]
Independence: Tulsa v VT [12/26]
You picked Independence Bowl over the Fiesta Bowl?

Really? A bowl game with a 6-6 P5 team vs. a 6-6 team in "The American" conference? Sorry, that doesn't peak my interests. I'm sorry, just because it's Beamer's last game doesn't make it a good game to watch.

The semi-playoff games and the NC game. Those are the best 3.

So, what do I win?

Yeah, the Citrus Bowl with UF/Michigan is good because it's the only one the SEC is supposed to lose because of UF's decimated offense. Michigan fans should show up because they're all here in FL anyway since their home state sucks in winter and the team is decent for the 1st time in years. Florida might show because it's here.

It's interesting for football fans to see if the offensively competent McElwain can stitch together something from the remaining bag of rags to get some yards. Harbaugh has to find a way to beat UF's very tough D.

Both teams are extremely similar. Both had great defenses this year that carried their teams. Florida's offense has had some key players taken away (I just heard in addition that a few players, like some RB, didn't make the trip because they were suspended) and Michigan's defense has gotten bit by the injury bug. Neither team really has the depth to replace players at this point. Michigan's offense looks like it's in better position to win the game, but who knows. I suspect the first team to hit 20 points (if one team can hit 20 points) will win the game.

Florida has no key players on offense. None... zip. Treon Harris could play with both hands tied behind his back, and there wouldn't be a drop in production.

I haven't watched Michigan play this season, but If they are able to hold on to the ball, they probably win.

Hmmm...I had to visualize that and see an opportunity. If UF snapped the ball to Harris with both his hands tied, there would be a fumble and a Gator might pick it up and run forward. So, tying Harris's hands might be something to consider to increase offensive production. They might just snap it to Calloway and tell him to run like a mofo.

That could work. Or perhaps they could rotate direct snaps to Drob and Taylor. Figure we should get something out of them before they bail early for the NFL as 7th rounders / undrafted free agents.

Or punt on 1st down...since our D has a better chance of scoring.

Well they do say that you want your best player on the team to have the ball in hand when the game is on the line... Get Townsend the ball!
