that is crazy. USC, Georgia, and South Carolina are easily better jobs.
I'd put VT and Miami ahead of them also. I don't really follow it but did they even get anyone decent to do a real interview? The campus political situation is atrocious no one in their right mind was going to step into that crap because recruiting is going to take a hit. A lot of guys that have other options are going to take them when they might not have otherwise done so.

Mizzou fans are hilarious. It may be the 5th or 6th best job open this year based on history, facilities, fanbase, recruiting ground, etc.

Throw in the administration and shitstorm going on on campus, and it should surprise no one that there weren't any coaches from outside of Mizzou that wanted to touch that shit.

So do you agree that Missouri is the second best job that has come available? If yes, why do you feel that?
You're putting words in my mouth.

Its a power 5 job in a winnable division.

I see no point in ranking them but I do think the Miami job has a lot of advantages over a lot of schools and they've just found ways to mess up over and over again. The Miami alum chose the Miami job. The Mizzou alum chose the Mizzou job. The USC guy chose the USC job.

The grass isnt always greener on the other side.

That's fine that you feel that way. I am more questioning MUTiger thinking that the Missouri job has the second best job opportunity in college football this year. I was curious on what your thoughts were as a much more reasonable fan than MUT

Very true statement. If a coach wanted the chance to play in the SEC Title every year, it is a chance to do so. Although Florida is looking like they are in the midst of turning things around.

I was being nice, though I would not put Miami ahead of Mizzu. There is not a lot of support there for the football program currently.

Making 3 million a year in the city of Miami is a hell of lot better than making 3 million a year in the city of Columbia Missouri. Who gives a crap if people go to the games just buy a boat it will make you feel better.

3 million in Miami is like 4.5-5 million in Missouri. People buy boats and Lake Houses in Missouri, too. The reason to go to Miami is to party and if you're a coach you can't do that.

If we're talking strictly college football then Miami is the better spot because Florida is a recruiting hot spot.

My bad I'm sure that buying a pontoon boat for a lake in Missouri is the equivalent of being in Miami with a boat and access to the ocean. Not sure what I was thinking.

ACC is an easier conference to win than the SEC.

Florida is a much more fertile recruiting grounds than Missouri.

The University of Missouri is a complete shitshow right now and who wants to deal with players boycotting games over issues that have absolutely nothing to do with football.

Much quicker easier turn around at Miami than Missouri (because it is the ACC even though the SEC east might be the worst P5 division in football).

I think you are letting your homerism blind you about how good of a situation your program actually is.

You continue to show that you are a clueless idiot who knows nothing about college football

Mizzou was the 2nd best job opening in college football this season behind only Georgia. USC West was never really open. Not sure if Va Tech is better than SC East.
:wtf:

Georgia
Virgina Tech
Bama DC
Michigan DC
Oklahoma OC
South Carolina
Virginia
Maryland
Rutgers
Memphis
Iowa State
Tulane
North Texas
UL Monroe

are all better jobs than Mizzou. Toledo and Illinois are too but they were never open.

Don't worry about it. I was trying to balance out the 20 winners you were going to get by OU, Texas, Bama and Nebraska fans.

North Texas and UL Monroe probably had a better offense than Mizzou last year
