last year Jordy Nelson was tied for 2nd in Tds, 4th in receiving yards, 5th in yards per game, and 7th in receptions. He made a lot of circus catches , that was his biggest asset is that he caught a lot of tough hard fought balls. He's not top three but I've always considered him top five. He's a much better athlete than people give him credit considering his size and speed. Not sure you can make the case. Stats wise while being consistently top-10 he has never really been top-3 in most every category. He did finish 2nd in touchdowns last year to Dez but that is about it. So while I do think Jordy is comfortably in the top-7 WR's in the NFL I just can't see anybody objectively considering him the top guy.

I see this is the 'Shit on every Pats player in order to over glorify Brady' segment of our program
I would consider A. Brown, Julio Jones and Gronk the best 3 "weapons" for a QB.
Are those his ranks in drops?Through the 2011-2013 seasons, Calvin was 1st, 1st, and 3rd.
Are those his ranks in drops?
Maybe he was only first in that category once, I forget. But he's a perennial contender. And on the downhill slide....
Didn't he have a bum finger the year he had so many drops? Are those his ranks in drops?

Imo Alshon Jeffrey is the best receiver there is. He has Cutler for a QB, so nobody realizes it.
Id also take Dez over Brown.

Yeah but he had 1 specifically bad year if I remember right. He's always had issues with dropped passes. Going all the way back to his Georgia Tech days. Still the most talented player to ever play WR though.

by drop% its danny amendola.
40 catchable balls, 0 drops.
leads the nfl.
Health has definitely slowed him some.He has got to stay on the field though to show that. He seems to have some kind of nagging injury at all times. He does a decent job to play through it usually but just seems like he is always nicked up keeping him from always being that top guy.
