Yeah, Peyton (and Brady) love their TEs. This is an excellent trade.Glad to see this move happen. Until last night's game the TE's barely had over 100 yards combined receiving. That middle threat has been a huge glaring weakness for this offense. Plus Manning has always loved his TE's. Hopefully Davis can be added to the long line of TE's that love to play with Manning.

Great move by Denver. Davis not be in his prime anymore but he's still a good TE. And like you said.....Manning loves his TE's. They've been struggling to find a 3rd WR, Davis will be that 3rd option and he should get 48-50 catches between now and the end of the season......along with 6-7 TD's.
Im not someone who follows contracts but I can't imagine anyone wanting his contractNext to be traded...... Kaepernick?

I would love that kind of production out of him. To me a guy that can get that 3-5 catches a game though up the middle of the field and be a consistent blocker is what I am hoping for. We just haven't had that weapon over the middle that keeps defenses honest. They know they can double on the outside and do just fine. This helps take that MLB out of the middle a little bit helping both the pass and run game.
Honestly thats not going to be the issue.*Davis may not be in his prime anymore*

Peyton not being in his prime is the issue. Davis should still be somewhat decent and at almost no risk
Yep. The only reason I stated the stats I did is because Manning loves his TE's. He'll dump it off to Davis if his WR's are covered downfield.
