Sucks for the Chiefs cause by rule that was likely not a fumble. Runner is down when any part of the body other than their hands or feet hit the ground while contact is made with a defender. Charles leg was already making contact when he lost it. The NFL rule says nothing about it having to be your knee that touches down.

it was the right call but it drives me crazy that the next play there was an illegal pick on Denver that went uncalled. either way the chiefs and fat andy fucked this game up royally

That was certainly big. The flag that was picked up when Sanders was held would have also been big had things turned out differently.
