One last thing.
I came on here and looked at this thread during the game and I will not do that again. I find it absolutely shameable the open rooting against Riley that was going on and I will not let this ruin any game for me.

I was one of the top naysayers against Pelini but when the clock started ticking I was rooting for Nebraska to do well at all times regardless of how ridiculous Pelini and his puppets made us look. I can not fathom taking joy in seeing the Huskers get pwned no matter who is at the helm.

To make it clear I am not rooting against the staff I will support this team no matter who is at the helm. I an just extremely disappointed in the outcome of the game there was a lot of sloppiness including 10+ penalties that needs to get cleaned up

As for the rooting, you're right you didn't root against riley or the huskers but two of you seemed almost giddy at times. There's plenty of time to analyze but my preference is when the game is on not to see the crap that was on here. Sort of like having to listen to trolls during a game. I don't want to.

Either this staff is going to get this program back to competing for championships or they're not. It was a poorly coached game.

We just fired a guy who spent 7 years not competing for championships, and losing big games either outright or on stupid shit.

Why fire that guy for more of the same? Because this one's nicer?

A seasoned head coach like Riley ought to know to let the clock tick down to the final second before snapping the ball. They were snapping the ball with 8-10 seconds on the play clock. That is just one of quite a few boneheaded things that were the responsibility of the coaching staff.

We weren't snapping the dadburned ball with 8 seconds left on the clock. We snapped at about 4 seconds on those last drives. One reason for doing that is because if you wait until the very last second then you give the Defense the advantage of knowing exactly when you're snapping it......and thus, they can get a good jump and blow the play up.

That is something a seasoned veteran coach takes into account whereas a noob would not.

We don't have the Lines that we had in the 90's, and because of that we have to get a bit more creative. It makes it harder.

Gangsish is no Jared Tomich, that's for sure.

We gave up to many big plays when the Defense could have got the other team off the feild. A 1st and 20 a 3rd 19. 4th and 1 and we give up 34 yards to a freshman byu qb who was forced to scramble but extended the play and got a first down.

Recruiting a kid takes 2-3 years sometimes, you can't expect a top 5 class 8 months into the job
