Doh! mer
Oregon State has no chance. One OSU or another.
Oregon State has no chance. One OSU or another.
2 of the 4 losses were to teams who played for the national title.
One was to the best defense in college football when healthy.
The other was to a program dying for a big win to regain some momentum lost in recent years.
Every team we've lost to finished at least in the top 20.
I wasn't looking for anyone to try and justify the losses.
But thanks for trying.
I like the last one "a program dying for a big win"
Like wtf?
Not really justifying the losses, just pointing out that even though it seems like a downward trend, its really not.
I do think that our losses have had a lot to do with not being healthy in the secondary the last 2 years. We've been plagued with injuries lately in the secondary. As of right now, we have all of our CBs and Safeties healthy and ready to go. If it stays that way, I don't see us losing. I mean hell we started like 7 different players at corner last season, and more than that in 2013 I believe. Just haven't been consistently healthy with that one lockdown guy. Key component in Sabans defensive scheme.
Okie State
I dont think it would have mattered last year, remember Ohio St played with a 3rd stringer, Elliott played with one arm the whole season. Also the Oklahoma game was a beatdown. Maybe it's Saban![]()
