Given that we have a large enough sample size, I gotta say the Padres played us way tougher than most teams this year. Wouldn't expect that from a below average team.

Given that we have a large enough sample size, I gotta say the Padres played us way tougher than most teams this year. Wouldn't expect that from a below average team.

They only have 5 fewer wins than us and we've played like that against below average teams all year

Sano and Buxton have some serious talent, plus Mauer is still a good hitter.

Sano and Buxton have some serious talent, plus Mauer is still a good hitter.

Buxton has major talent potential, but as of now he's awful and certainly not contributing to their wins. And Mauer is very average- no power and so-so average.

Sano and Dozier are their only real threats on offense.
