After next season. Hopes for assistant Greg Hard to take over after next season.

Never really like him, but always respected him. He had a great career.

He really made a great run the last couple of years. I hope Wiscy can continue the successes Bo had with them.

Meh.....he got people that could speak in front of the camera. Unlike JB and Melo. The boy was a box of rocks failing his Soph year when he left SU at age 37.

I love the "all class" Wisconsin people.

If Bo Ryan is "all class" then please define class for me. :L

In before someone says Tony Bennett to Wisky. The only place TB is going if he leaves UVa is the NBA.

Wait, he didn't self-righteously condemn any other schools so I'm going to assume this is not from Bo Ryan.

Not surprising at all. There was a lot of chatter that Bo would retire if we beat Duke to win the title. I'm glad that he is coming back for another run, and I think Barry will do the right thing and hire Gard. It's no secret that Gard is considered a huge reason for our success by many in the program and that Gard has avoided seeking other potential jobs the last 3-4 years because of loyalty to our program and the chance to get the job here. They would be crazy to try to mess with the success we have had.

This gard guy is gonna have to be a hell of a coach.

Even after back to back final 4s. They still don't even have a top 40 recruiting class I believe.

Bo was great at developing guys for his system and with that had a once in a lifetime big blossom epically. Idk if this assistant guy can do that.

Probably gonna forsure lose Hayes too unless he somehow just forgets how to play basketball this year

I don't think Bennett will leave at this time for Wisky.

But you are nuts if you think the league is his only chance to ever leave.

That's what VCU fans said about Smart.
Yeah, but come on. Smart was coaching at a mid-major. Texas was a huge upgrade over VCU. Bennett already coaches in what many consider the best basketball conference in the country. He has already proved that he can compete with the Dukes and UNC's. The facilities at UVa are second to none. Making a move to Wisky would be a lateral move at best. Yes, there is the sentimental aspect there, but Bennett has gone on record many times stating that Charlottesville is home.

Out of curiosity, what about Bo rubbed you the wrong way, Hammer?

I'm going to assume it has something to do with the way Bo Ryan handled the loss to Duke in the NCAA Championship game.

well that's where the issues lies, you take what they say as 100% fact.

These coaches are compulsive liars. If a great offer comes and they go, no matter what they previously stated.

It doesn't. He's been educated on what Bo actually said. Hammer is just trying to semi-troll to get comments. And it's working, so props to him on being a good capitalist.
