Go limp if you're starting Wandy Rodriguez tonight.

Carlos Martinez starts for the Cards against the Brewers tonight. He is off to a good start this year, but the Brewers have lit him up pretty good in the past. :noidea:

The Yankees own New York, not the Mets. The Mets, like the Islanders to the Rangers, will always be second-class citizens, the red-headed step child. The Yankees look down upon the Mets from their lofty perch, and don't give a rip about them. The Mets, on the other hand, will always be looking up at the Yankees with envy.

A post like this makes me hope that the Mets sweep the series. Athletic competition is about merit, not entitlement.

Yeah. That and the Mets are the better team this year. It's the same thing with the Clippers/Lakers in these parts. Sure, it's a Lakers' town. But the Clippers are the better team right now.

Today in Cards history 4/23/1999 Fernando Tatis 2 grand slams in one inning off Chan Ho Park.

Just saw my boy Rene Rivera won it with a walk-off single for the Rays last night. That's great for him. Love that guy!

The Clippers v. Lakers example is a good one. I'll withhold judgement on whether this year's Mets are actually better than the Yankees.

The Clippers are going to be the better team for a long damn time. It's not even close. The culture of the Lakers isn't far from the Knicks. Those scrubs are pathetic.

Sox fans can say the offense will get on track. You can say Buchholtz was virtually unhittable with all his pitches working. You can say its early in the season. But the bottom line is you CAN'T lose two out of three to the worst team in baseball.
