Gaberial deserves to be brought out in front of the community and reminded about his past. Ask him in front of everyone who the bad guys really are: The one's who did what they had to survive or the one who locked the door to his church and let his flock scream for help outside the doors while getting eaten by walkers? Remind him who still took him in despite the fact that he was a coward who let those he was supposed to protect die to save his own skin.

It looks like things will come to a head here faster than expected. With Deanna now already suspicious due to Gaberial's ramblings and now her son Aiden dead, I expect that she could turn against Rick and co. pretty quickly. I don't expect an unbiased accountiing of the situation from Nicholas who will probably try to lay blame elsewhere.

Add to it a possible lethal confrontation between Rick and Creepy Pete amd this could quickly turn into a powder keg ready to blow.

calsnowskier - As far as Tobin goes, that whole scene was pretty much taken out of the comics. He was cool with it. Funny, I just re-read that whole arc to see how it all ended up.

Glenn really doesn't have anyone to back up his account of what really happened at the warehouse, so Nicholas can paint any picture he wants to pin the blame on those in Rick's group. Combine that with the seed that Gabriel just planted, and boom goes the dynamite.

It is incredible to me that Glenn didn't just leave Nicholas out there to get what he deserved.

Awesome ending for Noah, never liked the kid anyway. Gabriel could have as easily been describing himself instead of the rest of the group. Really dont know how they are gonna take the deaths, but this group just leaves people when the trouble comes and what other reason is there for recruiting more people other than they lose alot of them and are used to it. Made some sense in the aftershow that Glenn couldnt leave Nicholas out there and go back with just their crew.

I dont get the angle on Rick and the wife. That drunk husband is the surgeon, he cant just kill the only doctor there, especially now that Tara is gonna need him. For the most part, these people are buffoons, have trouble getting out of their own way.

Looked like some interesting sniper scenes next week.

I think that was in regard to the people that they lost previously. They screwed up and caused their deaths and he is only now admiting it on his deathbed.

What was Gaberials deal with tearing the pages out of the bible? And what was the deal with the other document in the plastic that he placed in the bible?

I feel that Gabriel himself has become the person (Satan) that he was describing Rick to be when Gabriel was talking to Deanna. The things he done to his own congregation prove that he is not a man of God, but he is a coward looking out for himself.

GREAT episode!!

Initial thoughts...

1) EVERY ONE of Ricks group has PTSD. Holy shit.

2) Noah's death was AWESOME! The most gruesome single character death yet? Having his face ripped to shreds right in front if the camera. Bad ass.

3) What did Aiden say? "It was us. The others before. They didn't pay, we did." What does that mean?

Total swerve by the writers. Tara asks Noah what is up with him and "Holly", then they give Holly's introductory arc to "Francine". I like it.

Speaking of that arc, was Tobin cool about Abe in the comics? I seem to remember there being more of a fight when Abe took over??

Not unless Glenn told Eugene what went down when taking injured Sophie back. Remember Eugene knew something was up when he refused to get back in the van with Nicholas and was unholstering his gun when Nick tried to take it away which led to a scuffle which Glenn saved Eugene's life by knocking Nick out. Glenn told Eugene about Noah not making it so I would think Eugene would back Glenn up.

I don't think Nicholas could lie for long.

Glenn is pretty emotional already making it already more believable no matter of it's Deanna group or Rick group.

Also all Glenn has to do is tell the truth about Nicholas abandoning Aiden. Just get it it out there and into Deanna and Cos mind. Then wait for Nicholas to crack trying to deny it.

As others have said, it seems SOP in Alexandria to run when the going gets rough, so I am not sure it will take much for Deanna to believe Glenn's story.

That said, Deanna is getting frustrated with the group taking all the leadership positions in the community. She said as much to Maggie after Tobin stepped down as the foreman of the construction crew. Losing her son AND appointing ANOTHER leadership position to the new guys, on top of hearing Gabriel's pitch, would have to be hard for anyone to handle.
