Also if you have a heart you should realize that not only will it take some time to learn how to play with Dragic but also to get used to life without Bosh as the offense obviously ran through him especially when Wade was out

Exactly. The panic that take place when we lose to a team that is BETTER THAN US is hilarious
No panic man. Just stating reality. You are not realist. Said it would be tough for our team to come back down 11 after 1. Also, if the Heat are WORSE than a Pelicans team minus Davis and minus Anderson then we have serious problems. This Pelican team had lost 4 in a row and had just lost double digits to the Magic.......

Wade has looked awful this game as has Deng and Cole has outplayed Dragic. Not going to win many games when Chalmers is your best player.

A Pelicans team without Davis and Anderson should not be better then us, and especially on the road.

So are we good enough to split the two game series with the 76ers at home?

The bad game from Wade does not surprise me. He doesnt have what it takes to give consecutive good performances anymore.

Dragic played tentative in his first game. We got nothing from anyone outside of Chalmers. UD was solid doing the little things as usual early but he didnt see enough playing time. When Whiteside sat we saw too much Birdman, who once again looked old and slow as he usually does when he plays big minutes.

And again, lets not fault the Heat, the staff for this loss - you had to see it coming under the circumstances. But again, that still is no reason to absolutely FAIL to give the other team credit - Yes, they lost Davis and Anderson. But they still had Eric Gordon who is a quality player. Asik and Evans - not to mention Norris Cole.

Between having used a newly acquired player and missing our best player - and our so called other best player playing like shit again -this is the performance you had to expect. We should fel lucky not to have lost by much more.

On to the next game. And remember, its just that -- A GAME

I can factually tell you that Beasley has been more than just working out in the AAA.
There have been negotiations.
What those negotiations are, who knows?
Hopefully they figure it out...soon...like today...

Yeah hopefully. If we're able to get Beasley and Blatche we will be tough in the playoffs for one of the top teams.

Ennis so bad and with Bosh being out, UD is getting far too many minutes so we can really use those 2 guys

LOL this is such a ridiculous statement and is so far from the truth. Were the last 2 games the first games you watched all year long? In the month of December, Wade avg 25, 4, & 5 on 50% shooting but yeah he doesn't have what it takes to give consecutive good performances.

This is also the same man who went shot 50% or higher in 11 straight games from November-Early December

Hamstring issues are a reason. You know this. Coming back to soon risks more damage and further time out. Mickey Arison did not hand DWade a fat contract and then ask the Miami Heat doctors to give him excuses not to play. Wade's body is failing him. His style of play combined with previous knee injuries likely means this is what Wade is for the rest of his career. I doubt he ever plays a 75+ game season again. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am. But pull the numbers... Wade is still a top SG in this league when he is on the court.

@EthanJSkolnick: Hearing more & more hope that, while team doesn't want to jump the gun, Josh McRoberts could return before end of regular season

We need reinforcements....it may be too late to acclimate this year. Detroit and the Pacers likely will make a very strong push for the 7th and 8th spot and playing well now. Pacers got Golden State without Curry. 5 teams battling for the last two spots.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/writer...re-reminds-us-that-life-is-bigger-than-sports

Just a little reminder that its just a game and that life is bigger than the game. For you idiots out there that think the teams play on the court and any vendetta you have on the coaches/front office is bigger than life.

Have perspective.

What goes on the rest of the season matters not - Someones life is in doubt. Get the fuck over it and just watch the game, enjoy it and quit your bitching.

Thanks Paolo...I think we all get that life is bigger than sports -- trust me. However, this is a sports board for entertainment purposes, and if you want to criticize Shane or Wade, you are free to do so just like we are free tocheer them on and question the coaching staff or front office. Get a grip and enjoy man....this is for fun.

I expect Detroit and us will get the final spots.

It really make no sense to worry about teams who behind you. When those teams pass us is when I'll get worried. They're still both 2 losses behind us.

I view 6 teams battling for last 2 spots. I think it is us and Detroit. Of the top 4 teams in the East (Atl, Tor, Chi, and Cleve), I think our best shot at advancing would be playing Toronto. If Riley signs Andray Blatche, I would actually go as far as to say we should win that series (so long as we are healthy, which seems far fetched).
