Possibly, the homer in me makes it hard for me to judge the hit. I like Tate. For me it was just a great block, for cowgirl fans, of course it was intentional. Lee was shadowing Tate so he can't say he didn't see it coming. He can say he didn't expect a wide out to hit him so hard.

That's kind of what everyone said when it happened lol. It was a clean block as well, I remember watching the game live, seeing the reply, he put his helmet right into his upper chest. It was not a helmet to helmet and the flag they threw on Tate was BS. Of course the Cowboys fans we're going ballistic on the game thread.

Because the game is not about injuring people, legally or illegally.

It's a physical threat and the players should be treated the same way the bounty gate players were. If you make it known you intend to take an NFL field with plans to injure someone, you should be pulled from the game and the league. Bad look for the Cowboys, for the NFL and all their sponsors, publicly threatening to hurt another player. You do that off the field and you get in trouble with the law.
