This isn't just about Riley... We seriously need to reconsider what our chancellor is doing for the school and how much his input has effected our athletic department. That's the point of this thread, he is a large part responsible for our programs fall. You mean to tell me we can lure away a better coach than Riley? How the mighty have fallen.

What standards are you referring to? The standards that got Solich promoted? The standards that got Callahan hired? The standards that got Pelini hired?

I think we all agree that if it doesn't work out this time, Mr. Perlman should see the door.

My gut instinct is that this one is going to work out.

But this is 3 hires in a row now that Perlman has just nodded his head and said, "sounds good to me" without even looking into it.

Luckily, this time I believe we have one of the smartest AD's in the country. I think 2 years from now they'll be talking on Disney about what an insanely genius hire this was.
