Then why are you bitching all the time. Bama is ahead of TCU now, if both win the next 2 weeks, it'll be the same thing.

Because what I hope and what happens when it comes to polls and rankings are 99% of the time 2 different things... what happens 99% of the time is conference bias, preseason polls ruling the roost, and teams not dropping unless they lose.

When trash offense and special teams Longhorns beat WVU on Saturday, you're going to be forced to change your tune. Sorry.

If that happens, I will re-evaluate them. And if that does they'll still be better than fucking Minnesota. Illinois has won 2 conference games in the last THREE years, one of them being Minnesota a week and a half ago.

So TCU goes on the road and beats a ranked 6-2 team. Bama gets a week off after a cupcake home game. And Bama jumps TCU during a bye week???

It's better to have a bye week than it is to beat a ranked team on the road???

Yeah, no bias there at all.

How would your top 10 be different than the committee's? And again the committee specifically said they are not factoring in conference affiliation.

While I can't argue against that on its own... a loss to trash longhorns this week would match-up in comparison.

You need to get your facts straight. Bama was ahead of TCU last week.

lol. You don't actually believe Illinois and Texas are on the same level do you? I know Texas isn't very good, but Illinois is complete and utter garbage.

Then give your top 10, right now, how would it differ from the committee's at all? You bitch and moan about everybody else's rankings, put your own out there to be judged.

But that's not the total comparison...

Bama having beat WVU at 6-4 [with a loss to Texas] and TCU having beat Minn at 7-2 is quite comparable... and very arguable that TCU has the better win.

That works for me... I might make some changes after looking longer, but that's pretty good.

And there is no guarantee Minnesota is 7-2 either, they play Iowa, then finish with Ohio State, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Very likely they finish 6-6 or 7-5 at best.

Having Auburn at 5 is a joke.

Comparing resumes:

Auburn:
W/L: 7-1
SOS: 1
Top 25 wins: 3(Kansas State, LSU, Ole Miss)
Loss: #1 Mississippi State on the road

Oregon:
W/L: 8-1
SOS: 30
Top 25 wins: 2(UCLA, Michigan State)
Loss: #19 Arizona at home

TCU:
W/L: 7-1
SOS: 45
Top 25 wins: 2(Oklahoma, WVU)
Loss: #12 Baylor on the road

By every metric Auburn is the most deserving of being ranked the highest.

Also having ND at 9 and not having Bama ahead of them is a joke too. Bama has a far superior resume to ND at the moment.

You got what you asked for. Unlike most, I posted mine like I've done before. You poo pooed it hard, and now you've discouraged everyone from posting theirs. Good job.

I've been posting mine all year too. What's your reasoning for having Auburn at 5? I encourage all to post. I don't have a problem with people having their own opinions, however, not having Auburn at 3 at this point in the season, screams of anti-SEC bias.

TCU only loss is slipping a game away on the road to a one loss team, and truthfully, getting robbed by the refs on two end of game PI calls.
Oregon has beat probable big10 champ.
Being over Auburn is fine imo

Bama hasn't beaten anyone and has struggled against mediocre teams.
Nd being above is fine in my book.

You aren't looking at the complete picture. Had TCU actually WON that game, I'd give you no argument, but they lost. And frankly Baylor isn't as good as Mississippi State is. And Auburn just has better wins than Oregon does at the moment. Sure beating Michigan State is good, but Auburn beat Kansas State(on the road) which you could argue is better, right now.

Auburn was gifted the game.
TCU was robbed in their loss.

While Ws and Ls definitely mean the most, we don't ignore what happened in those games when taking the 'overall picture' as you stated.

You don't have to state "if TCU had won, then I wouldn't argue." You don't have to type out the blatantly absolute obvious.

Oregon beating MSU is a way better overall picture win than Auburn getting gifted a game vs KSU playing the worst ball of the year. That's s no brainer "complete picture"
