For the record though, I don't think Kershaw's got the CYA wrapped up just yet. Cueto could finish with at least 30+ more innings. Pretty hard to ignore IMO.
Kershaw missed the entire month of April and still has 177 innings this year. With 4 more starts he should get to 200 innings.
Lol @ Jones. He's having a great year, don't get me wrong, but it's kinda hard to consider a CF with a .318 OBP an MVP candidate. His OPS+ is 118, and while that's certainly good, it's not remotely close to being among the best. His defense seems to have gotten better (despite the GGs, most metrics rated him below average defensively in previous years, but he is in the positives this year), but it's not great.
AL:
1. Trout
2. Hernandez
3. Donaldson
4. Gordon
5. Cano
Really hard to pick between Cano and Seager. Seager's having himself a fantastic year. Not to mention there's also Kluber, Brantley and Beltre are also having great years.
NL:
1. Kershaw
2. Stanton
3. Lucroy
4. McCutchen
5. Cueto
Hate to leave off Posey, he's been an absolute monster in the 2nd half. Big reason the Giants have rebounded of as of late.
No way is Alex Gordon more deserving than Adam Jones.
Adam Jones: 83 runs, 168 hits, 25 HR, 85 RBI, 122K, .286 AVG, .318 OBP, .468 SLG
Alex Gordon: 77 runs, 137 hits, 19 HR, 66 RBI, 108K, .271 AVG, .354 OBP, .445 SLG
I think it's kind of funny that Trout could win his first MVP in what might actually be his worst all-around season to date.

Kind of surprised there isn't more love for what Kyle Seager has done in Seattle.
