Sleepy T
....zzzz...
7 days away.... Bound to be some mighty excited (and drunk) Hokies by 4PM. Good move by the AD to move the game time.
Scouting Report -- Last year, The Tribe went 7-5 overall and 4-4 in what is widely considered the best top to bottom conference in FCS football, the CAA. Almost all of their losses were against ranked teams. They also held a 10 point lead mid 3rd quarter against our friends from the West :barf: the 'Eers, before giving up 17 unanswered to lose 24-17. The Tribe were Top 20 by the end of the year.
Couldn't find much info on their depth chart, but one thing of note is that they have a stud DE in Mike Reilly who destroyed OTs last year. He is considered a mid round NFL prospect. He should be a good test for our OTs. They also have several other quality defensive players, particularly in the front 7. This team has been amongst the best defensive teams in FCS the last couple years.
Offensively, they don't look that intimidating and with major QB questions, will likely try to run the ball and make this game short.

This is a solid FBS team year in and out. Frank and Bud certainly won't overlook this type of team with the JMU debacle still fresh in our minds from several years ago. Will we ever forget that one??
Still, VT should have more than enough talent to handle W&M if they play their game and execute.
My prediction -- 34-6
