ND lands another top talent. After a slow start with a lot of 3 star recruits ND is starting to bring in the Big fish. Keep them coming Kelly. Great job.
So far everyone has him as a 3 star not 4 is the sky falling.
I've heard he's ranked as a 3 star oline man and a 4 star Dline man. So it isn't falling yet.
So far every site that I have looked at has had him as a 3 star regardless of position.
Blueandgold have him as a 4 star recruit. Either way its a god pick. We can only use DL help. I think ND likes him on the Dline.
I agree they want him to play on the DL, I also agree it's a great pick up, he did take a jump in their rankings since yesterday, he was a three star across the board even on blue and gold when I looked yesterday now he's a 90 4 star/ .8668 3 star in their other ranking.
He got a bump the day after he signed with ND?lol. Haven't a lot of you guys argued for years that it's the other way around?
He's a 3* on ESPN , he's a 3* on scout, He's a 3* on 247. I don;t know what other sites people use or see but I laughed a little when i read ND gets 4 star recruit and yet the major recruiting sites have him listed as a 3*.
I wouldn't worry though. D linemen are not easy to grade and alabama has done great with 3* linemen since sabans been there.
It's on 247 they have him as a 3 star and a 4 star before he was only a three, so he took a bump on that sight but it's also a little more Notre Dame friendly then some. Usually on ESPN they do take a drop.
I just looked at 247 and you're right. They bumped him up to 4* from 3* when i saw it last week. . How these kids get bumped durring the summer when they aren't even playing real gamnes is beyond me. these 7 on 7 leagues and camps like the opening hype up these kids I guess.
They get bumped based on whose offering them scholarships. If a 2 star player suddenly gets offers from ND, SC, Alabama, LSU, Texas and Michigan, they will quickly become a 4 star player.
