So the dude has been apart of your franchise since day 1. You could argue that Wade is also the reason you even got LeBron and Bosh to come to Miami, hes done A LOT for the franchise. I say give the guy some slack and give him some credit. He might be the reason Miami has all these titles in 8 years.

I can agree with this. It doesn't totally absolve him from the past two Finals performances, but he is a huge reason the Heat franchise has had such a great 10 years or so.

At this point, if Bosh isn't willing to re-sign for less, then I'd make the trade. The Timberwolves would likely take the deal. Well....maybe.

Bosh is the easiest one to let go of without the fans making a fuss. If the wolves offer up Love then the Heat will probably take that deal.

All this wade hating...Lets Remember, Wade has more rings than LeBron.

No Heat fan hates or will ever hate Wade.
That being said, no Heat fan wants to see him being overpaid and killing our chances of winning titles while James is here.

ROFL...Wade hasn't really done much without Shaq or Lebron. His career trajectory would resemble Melo's if Shaq and Lebron didn't come to town.

Yeah, if you look at on the floor stuff over the past 4 years... LeBron is much more of a reason than Wade that this team got to the Finals 4x and won 2 titles.

I was just agreeing with the viewpoint that Wade deserves some credit for being the reason that LeBron is even on the team in the first place.

As for the Shaq stuff... without Shaq that team doesn't sniff the Finals... but Wade practically single-handedly won that series vs the Mavs.

Trojan nailed it.

It is no big secret for athletic 2-guards and aging.
That position tends to fade fast and cruelly more than any other position.

The best 2-guards extend their career by becoming more lethal shooters.

Wade needs to develop a 3 point shot.
He has never had one, but its possible as history has shown us with hard work to get one.

If he can get a reliable 3pt stroke, he can maintain elite status for several more years.
If he cannot, he might be done before our eyes.

The OFC would need to change a little...right now it's based on the 2 slashers (Wade, LBJ) beating people off the dribble and kicking or finishing...There's no real high/low post game so the OFC has to go thru the slashers and Wade can't finish anymore...I don't think he can be elite solely as a jump shooter.

If he could accept a 6th man type role where he's only relied on for 20-25 mins...maybe...D Wade as a starter really looks finished to me.

I wanna say Spurs in 7 however watching this playoffs I noticed few things.

Lebron is just to strong. He can take over a game, hands down the best in the league right now. Only Kobe could rival that skill the last decade.

Spurs are sound, teamwork, fundamentals but if that gets shook up, they can struggle.

I think the Heat will rock this and will be shocked if they don't win it in 5.

Worst prediction on here - by a mile. Apparently - you have never heard of the concept of teamwork & believe that everything is only about one player. I hope that you learned something.

I don't think Minnesota is looking to trade Kevin Love for a few seasons of Chris Bosh.

They are going to either re-sign Love or trade him for some young potential future talent.

It is wishful thinking and supreme confidence in Pat Riley.

That seems like a ridiculously awful trade for Minnesota.
But, they are a bad organization. So, I suppose anything is possible with the T-Wolves.

I humbly accept defeat by my competitor. They were a great team and they deserved to win but it doesn't take away from what we have accomplished as a team. We are champions because we fought the fight and we showed up for each other. There are so many people in the world that have nothing but hatred and negativity in their heart. Whether you wanted us to win or you were rooting against us we are a team of men that loved the challenge. the critics just allowed us to fight harder and stay focused. So thank you to all the true fans out there that appreciated great talent and the professionalism of a hard working team. It has been a great honor to line up alongside number 0, number 1. Number 3, number 6, number 7, number 8, number 9, number 11, number 15, number 20, number 22, number 30, number 31, and number 40.

Might be.

We already know Battier is retiring. Chalmers is probably gone as well.

Maybe Riley takes a page from the Spurs book and finds a couple young Euros?

I would stay far away from Melo. I think he takes away more than he adds to Miami.

Miami doesn't need Melo. They need a Big and a PG who can dish the basketball, LBJ cant do it all for Miami. Wade really needs to work on his 3 because he can drive as much. I think Miami some what killed what Bosh use to be good at. Post and rebounds. By having him outside all the time Miami struggles with rebounds.

Kobe always had a good outside shot, and it didn't take long for him to become deadly, this was way before his skills declined. I'm not sure what Kobe you have been watching.

Been watching him since day 1. Early in his career, his jumper was average at best. But he worked on it and it became respectable and finally deadly when he reached a point where he truly needed to depend on it.

How is it lame? The guy made a prediction & it was dead wrong. I would have no issue if someone did the same to me. My main point was that everything does not come down to one individual & teamwork is very important (especially for the Spurs who perhaps move the ball better than anyone in NBA history).

MIA does needs somebody...I'm with you, idk if Melo is the guy they need. He's not JUST a jump shooter, but he NOT really a slasher that can create shots for his teammates. Basically a name.

Big/PG...that's it...the question is who?

As far as on-the-floor stuff, I can see Melo with LeBron working out pretty well. I actually think the duo makes more basketball sense than LeBron and Wade.

Melo is an absolute money jump shooter. From 3, from mid-range, from anywhere. He can provide great spacing for LeBron that Wade never could. And he can still, of course, create his own shot when needed, like late in the shot clock or when LeBron is on the bench.

His defense is not as bad as advertised, IMO. He's played on bad defensive teams so his coach and teammates deserve some culpability there. Put Melo on a good defensive team with his athleticism and size and I think he becomes a formidable defender.
