Hack gets the nod at 1B. When was the last time he played over there? Colvin sits, but against the lefty, that isn't a big surprise.

Braves go with the LaRussa Special with hitting the pitcher in the 8 spot. I never quite understood that rational, but, if it works for you, go for it.

Vogey with his 3-solid start streak on the line. Comes on, Voges!! Make us all eat crow!! We will eat it with pleasure!

*Actually, Detroit has the best record. But they've played FIVE less games than us.

Vogelsong starts tonight and tries to expand on his last couple of starts. He worked on his mechanics and seems to have figured things out. Giants starters are getting better by the minute as Lincecum found his groove last night. The General is ready for action. It's really warm out again so he has to keep the ball down and continue to jam batters inside.

Picks to click...Posey who had a day off and should be rested. Panda who hit the ball on the screws hard twice last night but only got one hit out of it. Hector Sanchez gets the call at 1st Base and has been raking the ball. Who will step up tonight and be a Hero? It's been a great ride so far.

Go Giants !!

Did any Giants' hitter show up tonight except Herk (2 doubles)?

And Buster is having a bad night. Brain freeze and missed the tag at the plate (should have been out by 15 feet), then K's with runners at 2nd and 3rd.

Still nine outs to go, but it is not looking good.

If the score holds up, it will be a blowout. How many blowouts have the giants been a part of this season?

I still have no clue what he was doing on that play at home
