Saban is going to make the rest of the SEC mad, sure bama doesn't need the easy W but a lot of the SEC schools do need it.
You must hate all FCS schools. How are they supposed to survive without that beatdown every year? The only thing keeping those universities from closing is that game.
Am I doing that right?
I am all for that but only if the other conferences start conference play in the first 4 weeks of the season like the SEC does. Otherwise, I'll take my non-FCS, OOC bye in November.
UF doesn't want that anymore, that I can guarantee.....
As much as I enjoyed that loss, it isn't the first time that happened (App State, anyone?) and it won't be the last. But, the game is an outlier to the discussion ... 99/9% of the time that is the equivalent to a bye week.UF doesn't want that anymore, that I can guarantee.....

And we get to see the rematch in just a few months. Will Michigan be able to break their winless ways against App State? Granted they only played one time, minor details

Yeah, because we all know that one game provides a true reflection of the quality of a conference, let alone a team. By the way, last year's UF was about like UK, Arky, MSU and UT.Yeah, but it's the mighty SEC. According to everybody, the SEC is the toughest conference in the world. I can understand a shitty team like UK, Arky, Mrs State or Tenn losing to GA Southern, but not UF.
Why SEC Needs to Listen to Nick Saban and the Push for 9-Game Schedule | Bleacher Report
Saban is proposing a 9+1 schedule. Where every team would have 9 conference games and be required to play at least 1 OOC game against another team from a Big 5 conference. I think its a good idea.
ALL HAIL KING SABAN!!!!!!

But when an SEC team wins the BCS title, you'll see fans of other SEC teams swing from the sacks of the team that won that one game and assume the other SEC teams are NC winners as well, no?
Wining the NC is the culmination of winning 13 or so other games, and then beating the next best team (arguably). That's a whole lot different than a single team losing to an FCS team. But when an SEC team wins the BCS title, you'll see fans of other SEC teams swing from the sacks of the team that won that one game and assume the other SEC teams are NC winners as well, no?
Pretty sure if there's going to be 9 conference games they'll be playing a conference game within the first 4 weeks.I am all for that but only if the other conferences start conference play in the first 4 weeks of the season like the SEC does. Otherwise, I'll take my non-FCS, OOC bye in November.
You do realize the SEC already plays SEC games beginning week 1? Going to 9 games won't change that.Pretty sure if there's going to be 9 conference games they'll be playing a conference game within the first 4 weeks.
maybe if bama didn't play the easiest conference schedule each year they would not want to play more in-conference games?
