That third goal doesn't happen if not for that beautiful move by Mac at the point. Man, he looked bad for most of the game, but that move washes it all out. Helluva cross-ice pass from Richie to Stepan for the goal.

MacTruck is nowhere near 100%. But he's a fucking warrior and keaves it all on the ice. He will adjust and he'll be better in game 2. Outside of the hit he took from Hartnell, which then lead to the goal, there plan to pin Mac on the boards, was a huge fail. They got away from their game and we exploited it. Now if this was a Torts coached team, that's a game we lose 2-1, seen it time snd time again.

They just kept pressing, consistent pressure in the offensive zone. Heavy forecheck from all 4 lines, once again, being able to do so. All lines contributed. 4th line may not show up on the stat sheet, but they looked awesoms. They tried to get Dorsett early, but he wouldn'y break. Earlier in the year, he retaliates and matches the penalty. This team finally has AV's system down pat and it is amazing.

Can't wait for game 2.

Strong game by the Rangers tonight, especially in the 3rd period. Really got inside the Flyers' heads and made them take stupid penalties. I think the Rangers got the Flyers on the ropes right now, game 2 is basically a must win game or else too much pressure on the Flyers going back to Philly down 0-2 IMO.

Yeah if the Rangers win game 2 Flyers are in serious trouble, especially when you figure that the Rangers are better on the road than they are at home.

Hey bud! The playoffs are looking good all across the board but I feel the Bolts are going to get swept. They just don't have the urgency that the Rangers, Wings, Guins, or Sharks are showing. Kinda looking like a funny car dragster running on one cylinder!

Hence my signature! He doesn't have the word defense in his weak vocabulary! He's done marvelous things in Tampa but Tampa needs to find a GM that will make a well rounded team, a team that will achieve the next level. But...They signed the Village Idiot for 4 more years.

I don't think he's an idiot, I just think he's putting things off for the future. At a certain point, you have to play for now. After a while bragging about future potential becomes tired and pointless.
