I think this years football team is going to be way better with TA at the helm I know he threw picks but the guy has a very accurate arm blah blah blah.

This team is insane. I really wish Ray would get on his horse tho. I mean if he even hit half his shots this game would have been a blowout. To go on the road to MSU and not just play with the big boys they kinda kicked there ass I would say we out played them in almost every aspect.

I know some people are looking forward to next season but I really want to see how far this team can go.

Huskers put them away when the chips were down with just a few minutes left and Mich St was closing in strong.

Stepped up when only ahead by 3 and won by 9. It took a ton of maturity to do that.

I'm still stunned.

What I loved was that when Michigan State cut it to 2 and they were slappin their hands on the floor gettin' all pumped and shit, the crowd was loud as hell and making chaos...

But Benny and Petteway would just slowly bring the ball down the court like nothing was happening. Cool and calm like they had been doing this for years.

It is so unreal. It is so impossible. I am probably dreaming.

What seed does that get us?

I could see either 3 or 4.

I'm just gonna keep it real and hope for a #6 conference finish. I would be ecstatic for that.

I'd still be happy for an NIT berth.

None of the last 6 games are gimmies. Any one of those teams can win, particularly in their own house.

Penn St won at Ohio St less than 3 weeks ago.

If we win our next 2 against Penn State and Purdue at home, we will be locked into the NIT.

There is no doubt about that.

At that point we may well forget being real and start to hope for really cool things to happen......sech as beating Illinois on the road for starters.

I am not worried at all about the Purdue game. We are gonna drop them like a bad habit.

The game I'm worried about is Penn State on Thursday. They have some game changers on their team, and they can win on the road. Also, Nebraska is coming off of the biggest win in the history of the program......which can be a negative if not handled correctly.

As for Illinois......

They are 2-5 at home so far, and those 5 losses were all out of reach......not even close to winning them.
