PackMaster....there is no trying to use relevant and actual facts and data to some Bear fans. They are blind to facts. It is best to just let them spew their venom and move on. BUT, that sure was a glorious site watching the Rodgers to Cobb connection inside Soldier Field. GO PACKERS......

Lol another bandwagon fan wooohooo

Cutler is average at best IMO.

I'd take the following QBs over Cutler:
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Matt Stafford
Matt Ryan
Philip Rivers
Tom Brady
Andy Dalton
Ben Roethlisberger
Ryan Tannehill
Joe Flacco
Tony Romo
Andrew Luck
Cam Newton
Russell Wilson
Aaron Rodgers
Alex Smith
RG3
Colin Kaepernick
Nick Foles

19 QBs better than Jay Cutler. That would actually make him below average.

I'd take the following QBs over Cutler:
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Matt Stafford
Matt Ryan
Philip Rivers
Tom Brady
Andy Dalton
Ben Roethlisberger
Ryan Tannehill (not!)
Joe Flacco(not!)
Tony Romo(one in the same)
Andrew Luck
Cam Newton
Russell Wilson
Aaron Rodgers
Alex Smith(not!)
RG3
Colin Kaepernick
Nick Foles

The rest are either no brainers or are good chance that its a yes......

7 years, $126mil with $54mil guaranteed.

Kind of puts the Flacco deal in perspective.

I knew that was coming. But like what PackMaster said, go ahead and believe what you want. I have been a fan of these teams for a long time.

People who trashed the Flacco deal don't understand the salary cap & NFL management. Even a decent QB in the NFL is obscenely expensive these days, and they're extremely hard to come by / replace.

Not a truer statement out there. For every brady and manning drafted there is a ware and russell. You just dont know what you got for a few years.Even when you talk about the young "mobile qb's".no one reallly knows yet whay they really have. 1 blown knee or damaged shoulder on any given play and everything changes.

All the young fans want make their young kid qb's elite without ever accomplishing a thing . Think back to cunningham, culpepper, mcnair and plenty more. It was rammed down your throat by people then that there was a new breed of qb then, gonna change the game. Here we are 30 years later and i ask again? How many black QB'S have won the super bowl

Just think about the fact that before the rookie cap was in place, Bradford and Stafford both got deals in excess of $75mil before playing a snap in the NFL.

I can't even imagine what Luck's deal is going to look like in a couple of years.

I would have signed mccown to a 2 year deal and drafted a guy next year.

If you're the GM, your goal is to win a Super Bowl this year. You're not even thinking out next year's because there is a very good chance that you will be unemployed this time next year.

Well for the next couple years mccown gives the bears a better chance to win the Super Bowl and costs a hell of a lot less..

That would depend on a hundred different things, where are the bears picking, whose available etc..

The Bears are picking 14th. And pretend every college QB's available except Teddy Bridgewater.

...I ask because "draft a QB" isn't really a strategy. It's really more like what a team does when they don't have a strategy.

...Oh and Josh McCown is a horrible, horrible quarterback (compared to starters). Let's not forget this fact after a few good games.

McCown was nice for a short period of time, most of which was against the types of defenses that you dont see in the playoffs. No GM is going to bet his career on McCown.

You know how many times that's been said over the years by Owners and GM's looking for a "franchise" QB and it never pans out?

Ask the Browns, Jets, Cardinals, Chargers etc...etc... how many years they've said "we'll just draft another QB next year"

Umm reading comprehension sir, I said draft a QB "next year". Also I disagree as a packer fan I could not feel more confident against cutler, mccown actually runs the offense a lot better imo.

I'm so sick of people saying McCown played better than Cutler. Anyone who watched the Dallas game saw that he should have had 4 INTs in that game. Even Gruden at one point during the game said McCown had to be more careful. The week before against the Vikings, McCown threw 2 balls RIGHT to defenders. I mean the easiest INTs ever, but again he got lucky. Are fans really this blind? Hard to believe that people cannot see that McCown had freak luck. He played nowhere near what the 13-1 TD/INT ratio showed. Did he play very well? YES. He's a terrific backup. But he had freak luck to get the 109 passer rating. Its not very often a QB lucks out with as many dropped INTs as McCown did.
