Auburn more likely to win the national title than Ohio State

they can crucify me all i want. i think we are 50-50, maybe a hair better, to beat Mizzou. I have never boasted about how we are going to crush them. I've spoken in hypotheticals if we do happen to win. And I've laughed at Ohio State's schedule... and backed all of it up with facts.

And in my link, according to the Winn, Ohio State is more likely to win the title rather than Auburn. It's vegas, it's not about who they think will win, it will be how they will get the most money, the same as with the the BCS selection committees.

just goes to show you that even though ohio state is about 3x as likely to reach the game as auburn, people give auburn a MUCH better chance of knocking off florida state than they give ohio state. if these facts get old quick, then i'm sorry.

I would think that Ohio State is more likely to win the national title because they are more likely to be in the game than Auburn is.

And really according to Vegas, Ohio State would be a 2.5 to 3 point favorite against Auburn. So back up your claim that Auburn would be favored.

where have i ever said ohio state sucks? their schedule sucks. nobody really knows how good they are. that's what happens when you play 1 ranked team and your entire conference combines for 0 wins over the top 15 or top 20.

i agree. i think betting auburn at lower than +400 is insane. but those are the odds. i guess a little bit of that figures that Mizzou has 0 chance of reaching the title game unless either FSU or OSU lose while Auburn has a small chance of breaking in even if they both win.

i guess vegas thinks that of all those teams, auburn is the one best equipped to upset florida state should they play.
