I'm really happy for RKIII - Omaha kid who never got to start, worked his butt off, and what a play. He'll remember that one forever. Good job Ronnie.

He was very emotional right afterwards, rightfully so. Great throw by him!

No one has to feel good for the coaches, feel good for the kids. Option? I don't remember any after the half. TA is fast to the edge, that is why he is good at it --> someone tell that to Beck

Exactly.

Were you satisfied when the Huskers beat Mizzou on the kicked pass? Same scenario. I know I was happier than a puppy with two peters.
This post is so irrelevant its a joke. Tom Osborne proved he could win games and was a championship winning coach. With T.O in the 90's we were at the top of our game and if we lost a game it was a HUGE UPSET. With Bo we are a team that isn't progressing and barely scraping out wins against bottom dwellers week in and week out. We don't even look good, we flat out look like shit and got lucky. At least Osborne's scraping by wins were RARE, and few, and holding off upsets. Having to win like this week in and week out is not husker football.

Now where was Martinez today?

IF he can't be on the sideline and cheer his team on because he's not starting well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'll wait to hear what happened before I say what I think about him not being there today.

Right now I'll just say his absence was deafening.

He's got the flu

Well It's a feel good game that will go down in Husker lure! Doesn't change much. Tim Beck was the problem today. The Coaching staff made some halftime adjustments and the defense got it and it worked. Grant it the 1st half was a complete cluster fuck. But Armstrong might have a better throwing motion then Martinez but still the same type of passer. He's not a guy you want to have throw the ball more then 20 times a game.

OK, gottit, selective reasoning. The question is, how did you feel after Nebraska escaped from Big XII perennial kicking boy Mizzou's house on a play created by pure luck? That is the basis of the discussion. Not who coached, not when the game was played. Nothing but "HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER IT?"

Answer the fucking question or go back to your little pity party.

I am happy for my 'skers. Nothing changes with Pelini. He did nothing to win that game. These kids and luck, nothing more. Hell if anything the coaches made it harder for them.

But the 'skers win and tonight we celebrate. Fucking Kellogg has a hail mary that he will tell his grand kids about.

How fucking cool is that!!!
-------
Agreed. I'm glad for the win although it probably cost me a front end alignment. I was driving home from work when that hail mary happened and drove up onto the curb. Realistically? NW was down to playing their waterboys so the "win" proves nothing in my book except we are now bowl eligible.

I was screaming fucking yeah and stomping like a 15 year old white girl. fuck it happy for the players the staff can fuck off.

and this doesn't help Bo it actually makes his case worse. since we got here Nwestern has taken us to the edge .hail Mary to win a game when your on the hot seat doesn't help you. Our qb situation is fucked TA need more fine tuning. tmart hurt Kellogg I salute you thank you .

This is for the players Bo still needs to go and beck Is Watson all over again.

I was never worried.....

Me neither. I even posted in the other thread I had the vibe Nebraska would win.

"
I got the vibe.

I never had the vibe prior to the Minnesota game, but today, I have the vibe for the Northwestern game.

Nebraska WILL win. A one point victory is good enough for me."

wink wink, nudge nudge.

Anyone notice that Ron Kellogg seemed to run around inside the stadium about ten times in under ten seconds after the catch?

Congrats to Ron Kellogg III.

I cant imagine ever being so negative that I couldnt enjoy a win like tonite because I was too busy bitching about the coaches. Your post is not only pathetic but as sad as I ve ever seen. As I recall, most of the fanbase held TO in contempt until 94 because he couldnt win a bowl. He coached 25 years and was considered anything but a championship winning coach until his last 3 years. Dry up buttercup we won.

Did Nebraska kick the XP?

Or did football finally decide that was a stupid thing to do since it did not affect the outcome of the game?

Blackshirt, get on board or get the fuck out. Never once in my 44 years have I EVER routed for the Cornhuskers to lose a game. Even when Calahan was there and I wanted him gone, I still cheered for Nebraska to win. I realize you are probably a young college student by your posts and don't have an appreciation for what it means to be a longtime Husker fan but, if you outright hope Nebraska loses, you are no fan in my book.
