our D is STOUT
If you can handle a team that has a vertical passing game, you may well be correct. We didn't see that tonight. There are some teams you will play that can actually throw down field ... then we shall see.

That said, it seems to me that Bama, FSU and Oregon have established themselves as the top 3 ... everyone else is at a different level.

and as much as your hating ucla they are 15th in total offense.

That shows how bad the defenses they are playing are to me. that team could not play more than two or three different types of plays all night. They cant hit receivers, they cant run very well and the QB gets happy feet when pressured. Receivers cant catch the ball under pressure and they only appear to have about 5 or 6 plays on offense. I watched the whole game and neither team impressed me.

I love it, Oregon destroys the #12 team in the country and everyone starts making excuses. next we will beat up Stanford and everyone will say how one dimensional they were, its called GOOD defense forcing the opponent to not work correctly.

What did you expect with Noel Mazzone calling plays.

This is the first UCLA game I've really watched closely this year and, no offense, but I expected them to bring a little more to the table being #12 at this point in the season. Bad decisions at QB seem to force them to be really one dimensional.

I guess the same thing could be said for the top team beating the number 21 team in the nation, giving them a big 0 at the end of the night.

It's funny hearing an SEC fan talking about a vertical passing game, which has been non existent until a couple of years ago in the SEC… I guess you forgot about all the 9 to 6 scores we use to see in the SEC.

:laugh3:

Boy are u in for a rude awakening

Skoooooo ducks! :L

you don't watch PAC football do you? Oregon is going to be a 17 point favorite vs Stanford, and Ducks probably win by at least 21 points.

That and their shitty playcalling, i put this more on the OC than the QB

Again Band, that the same type of crap a saw with the TOP QB in the SEC a few years back, with Murray hitting his receivers in the ass with the ball in the SEC CCG

You wont see that at Bama. McCarron hits his receivers and the offense is starting to click on all cylinders now. The defense is one of the tops in the country again. The only team I am scared of is FSU. Even Mizzou looked beatable tonight.

That was a huge part of it but when he did have a chance to throw down field he got happy feet and threw it directly into coverage.
