We haven't even won the SEC yet and this guy has put us in the title game.

Oregon isn't going to make the title game anyway.

Seems like you expect Oregon to beat down Bama. But by how much do you think?

CBS and ESPN picked LSU to win in 11

Lou Holtz picked ND to beat Bama....

I have the Sports Nation polls saved. Everybody predicted Bama would win both. But everybody outside of Alabama WANTED LSU to win. Everybody loves the severe underdog. But this year, how much do you expect Oregon beats Bama by?

Basically all the national talking heads have picked against Alabama in each of the last 3 national championships. So, this is nothing new.

Miami in 92 was supposed to blow Alabama out.
Texas in 09 was supposed to win.
LSU was supposed to win in 11 because they had already done it.
Notre Dame defense was supposed to be way too much for Alabama with Teo back there.

:noidea:

I don't think anybody picked ND to beat Alabama except slobber monster, aka Lou Holtz.

Oregon isn't going to win, and they won't match up well against Alabama. Now be dumb and compare them to A&M.

It's the same shit I hear every year, and of course everyone is the expert in hindsight and knew what was going to happen.

Explain how you arrived to this conclusion. Can you even name the Oregon star players who will be All Americans? Try..

FYI, I am one of the few people outside the Pac12 that regularly posts in the Pac12 thread and watches their games. I actually like Oregon and pull for them, except for when they play Stanford.

People think Oregon is going to do so well against Alabama because of the A&M game. But as I've pointed out - and even Mamba agreed with it, Manziel and Mariota are not really alike. Manziel is a crazy good scrambler who was able to extend the plays like crazy, throw the ball up and his receivers come down with it, most of which is unscripted. Mariota on the other hand is a read option QB who is very fast and gets the majority of his yards on called plays. He can obviously scramble and such, but he is not like Manziel in that manner.

Alabama's offense has been shaky this season, but the defense has been pretty solid. The A&M game they were inconsistent, but A&M had to come back late in the game after Alabama basically shut them out for 2 quarters. Alabama is a very disciplined team, and that is what you need when playing a read option team.

The main problem with the Alabama offense has been the O-Line. Which was the most inexperienced line at Alabama since 2007. They are a talented bunch and will only get better, as they are getting what they needed most - experience. By the time the Oregon game comes along - if we are in it, the group will be very experienced.

Oregon is a talented team and obviously if Alabama doesn't take them seriously it would result in a loss. But if you think Oregon is just so overly matched in that game, that it's impossible they would lose to Alabama, then you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Personally, I just think you are a nut swinging troll, and that's being nice.

Alabama against Notre Dame giving the points was my lock of the year.

2013 BCS National Championship Game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Despite the historical record of, at the time, 5-1 in favor of Notre Dame[9] many sports betting centers had Alabama as a heavy favorite[10][11] with point spreads favoring Alabama as high as ten points over Notre Dame. Many prominent sports writers predicted Notre Dame to win based on several factors including strong overall defense,[12][13] an inconsistent Alabama team (often cited as being "exposed" against LSU and Texas A&M), and various, intangibles such a destiny and generalized fatigue from the dominant performances of the Southeastern Conference.[14]

You seem sincere but come across as clueless when it comes to football. I recommend reading some introductory to football books, etc etc

You seem to lack the ability to form a real response.

I watched every "prominent" sportscaster on earth, and they all had Bama winning by 7 or more. They kept talking about what Notre Dame would have to do, in order to have a chance.

Well I thought Alabama would win, I just remember hearing about Notre Dame over and over, and I never understood why. I just chalked it up to the Notre Dame fanbase.

Oregon doesnt even make the title game.

If they did and were to face BAMA they would lose.
