Major League Baseball just announced the most popular jerseys sold and Mariano Rivera is at the top of the list:

3. Yasiel Puig, Los Angeles Dodgers
4. Manny Machado, Baltimore Orioles
5. Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants
6. Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles Dodgers
7. Yadier Molina, St. Louis Cardinals
8. Andrew McCutchen, Pittsburgh Pirates
9. Yoenis Cespedes, Oakland Athletics
10. Mike Trout, LA Angels of Anaheim
11. Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox
12. Derek Jeter, New York Yankees
13. David Wright, New York Mets
14. Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers
15. Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals
16. Chris Davis, Baltimore Orioles
17. Hyun-Jin Ryu, Los Angeles Dodgers
18. David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox
19. Robinson Cano, New York Yankees
20. Paul Goldschmidt, Arizona Diamondbacks

did it say how many jerseys actually sold over what time period?
if it's from the past 10 years, ortiz and jeter should top the list.
if it's from the past 10 weeks, mariano rivera and clayton kershaw should be #'s 1 and 2.

i'm really surprised that people would buy robinson cano jerseys knowing full well he's leaving.

Legendary Yankees closer Mariano Rivera ranked first on the list of the 20 most popular jerseys since the All-Star break

Still nothing on any backstory to make this make more sense.

I did find this though.

The horse’s name apparently is A Tru Bustamove.

He does have a ranch apparently so maybe that's why

Though it Bucknor's defense he was in terrible position to see it/Utley cut him off

That is no defense, as, correct positioning to call a play is a part of his job. A BIG part.

Here is where the 2nd wildcard really comes into play. 4 days left, and there are things like above to still be sorted out. Like it or not, that part is good for baseball.

Hmmm....

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez received permission from the team to skip its final series of the season against the Houston Astros this weekend so that he can prepare for his upcoming appeal hearing, reports the New York Daily News.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman quickly refuted that report saying it is “false.”
“I’m wasting my time talking about it,” [ame=""]Cashman added, according to ESPN.com.[/ame]
Rodriguez is appealing a 211-game suspension that Major League Baseball levied against him light of his reported involvement in the Biogenesis doping scandal.

As a moderator, he has the power to make changes as he sees necessary, as do I. However, I did not see the orig post myself, so, I will have to defer to Capt that he is doing the right thing here. If not, we also have to answer for things to Hammer, so.....?

You are clearly the troll if anything here...

Ty moose all i said was i was sad to see the yanks get eliminated because the tigers have beaten them lately......i said nothing close to trolling.....i THOUGHT this was a BASEBALL thread NOT a team thread.

Just baffles me someone can just legally edit YOUR words and post them under YOUR name. And get away with it......nothing anyone on here posts is safe if someone can just edit it and erase the original post.
