Getting rid of Papuchis isn't going to do a damn thing......he isn't the one making the decisions Defensively....

Bo is the one standing there with the sheet in his hands calling the Defense.....Papuchis is nothing more than a waterboy who happens to know all the signals to signal in the plays after Bo makes a decision.

I've been one of the only people to keep making excuses for Bo and his staff. Today I have ran out of excuses. It is one thing straight up get blown out.....but it's another when you have a 3 score lead cruising into halftime and then you give up a huge TD going into the half and don't make a single adjustment from there on out......and get ran out of your own stadium to boot.

This ruins recruiting....it ruins player confidence.....it ruins the image of Nebraska Football which has already been a joke for the past decade.

Unless Bo makes some unreal changes, including staff changes and schematic changes, he is going to have to be let go.

For right now, I am starting to entertain the idea of a new face.

Consistent failure against teams with a pulse make it difficult to pump the sunshine that's for sure.

I agree but who do they go get? Scott Frost? Turner Gill? It will be hard to lure an experienced head coach to Nebraska if 9 win seasons are not enough. It failed with Frank and it will fail again unless the target is for sure locked in before pulling the trigger on Bo. Do they try to get Paul Rhodes from ISU (I really like that guy) but I bet he would turn down NU. Pat Fitzgerald from Northwestern would also turn down an offer....

These players are going to give up on the scheme soon.

When that happens, it's over and there will be collapse.

This is what struck me today. Your team looked absolutely demoralized when you were up 21-10, and never really seemed to get back in it. It was like the team was in a prolonged lull with no belief you could get out.

You guys have had a lot of good under Pelini. He's obviously a class act. He doesn't lose to bad teams. He consistently gets 9-10 wins. At the end of the day, though, you can't keep a coach around at Nebraska if the players don't believe they can win the big games. Even the crowd seemed to sense, "Oh, this again."

It's a trend. It's 'been' a trend.

We all can feel when they are going to fold like a cheap lawn chair. It's almost choreographed.

We need a guy that can recruit period, pony up some money this time for a proven coach, and assistants! This years recruiting class is already struggling, without much help we should be able to continue that trend easily

Really wasn't that upset today. Why? Because I'm getting used to this. It seems to me that, that is not a good thing.

Bo should be having a meeting with Echorist today, and then again immediately following our last game

It's like Gilligan's Island when I was a kid.

After a couple of years, I gave up hope that they would ever get off the island.

Eichorst is going to have to make a tough decision this year.

Scott Frost would have to be pretty stupid to come to a train wreck and leave the gravy train he's got there at Nike

I think next season would be the most opportune time for a new coach. Coming off of the best recruiting class of this staff. The cupboard is most certainly not bare.

If we're gonna fire him we need to do it quickly after the season or our recruiting will suffer greatly. It needs to be Frost or Tressel. Kirby smart would be good. Fitzgerald is who I really want. Time to open up the check book.
