Sure they don't.

All anyone sees is the RB getting Blasted.

The only one's that know about football are the only one's that count, and they know it was the OL's fault.

He didn't have time to react. He was handed the ball and the O button was jammed :gaah:

He took advantage of a golden opportunity. No doubt about it. But it doesn't change the fact that Taylor Lewan dominated him the entire game.

Must be why he had 5 other tackles

I feel like he's pretty much a lock but, this day and age, it's hard to say one way or the other. These kids flip flop so much you never know what the hell's actually going on in their heads.

I quit following it so much after that Gunner Kiel fiasco.....

Yup, perfect example rit there. I'm not sure about anything until the name is on the LOI.... even then some choose to transfer.

Is Clowney ESPN's new Tebow?

The guy is good but they act as though he's literally the best player that's ever existed. Let's not forget, Michigan was 30 seconds away from beating them in that game.

You had me until you made the point Michigan almost beat them.

Since when did the best players always win? It is a team sport.

OK, would the fact that he was neutralized by Lewan all game be a more sufficient example of how human he is?

Not sure if I would agree (and I am no SC fan).

I watched the SEC special on ESPN the other day.. and they were talking about how great he looks some plays.. and then he will disappear for long stretches (and even games).

So I am not saying Lewan didn't ... but it seems like he is very up and down... everyone sees the highlight reel but what he does game in and game out is what matters.

I think the NFL guys see a ton of potential in this guy.. but I am not sure he is there yet.

um...not quite ALL game...

That one hit just looked good. It wasn't that great of a hit.. that was about momentum of both players and the fact that his helmet came off.

The new trend of dread locks has helmets popping off everywhere these days... if I were the coach I would tell them to cut that dirty nasty shit for both football and hygiene reasons.

No, Clowney is actually good. The pub is warranted.

So you think whether he is better than JJ Watt deserves serious consideration?

What the hell does JJ Watt have to do with this thread? Are you looking for me give Watt some sort of credit or something?
