The guy is a beast and an animal, when he wants to be. He lacks discipline and is to lazy to get his butt in shape. Saban and Kirby would not reward his laziness and list him as a starter.

I don't think Clowney would be the same if he played for Alabama.

Who's to say? Each person reacts differently to his environment. Sure, Saban runs a tight ship, and its reasonable to assume Clowney would behave himself better there.

Then again, he might have been kicked off the team by now. Its not like Saban doesn't kick folks off the team for misbehaving.

I just think Saban would be more strict is all. And he would be in better shape and more disciplined.

Don't know about being kicked off the team, he seems to keep his shit in order off the field.

Can we agree that Clowney's Heisman hopes are over?

No offensive player could have two games like Clowney's first games and still be considered as a candidate. That is the problem with D players and the Heisman. Perhaps we won't have to hear his name non-stop on ESPN from now on.

Nope. And if you need more evidence, just look at last year with Manziel vs LSU and Florida.

However, as a defensive player he had little to no chance anyway.

I'm not sure what people expect from a DE honestly.

FIFY.

They win one game and they all go into OD mode.

I've personally merged seven threads and those were ones TexasMan didn't get to first. Some of them had virtually the same title by the same poster.

Clowney overrated

But I have a feeling because I started this thread, he is going to light shit up. Or more likely, he will get lit the fuck up
