I haven't watched this, but I presume they chose Magic because of the irrelevant factors of points, rebounds, and rings. And the fact that Magic's HIV shortened his ability to get more assists (though it helped his averages not plummet a bit).

Yes, I was being sarcastic about the "irrelevant" part.

I didn't watch it, just posted for the title - an actor played with Stockton. Now you made me want to see what ad you are talking about.

Edit: We must have gotten different ads. I got a 7 second ad of an all-terrain vehicle driving where I would never find myself. Didn't find that objectionable, objectively or subjectively.
