Stupid ass USC has the most Heisman's at 7 and most NFL HOFers at 12.

:gaah:

I was saying USC is far and away the best. RIF

In general though people tend to overrank guys based on Pro careers. Guys that were good in college, but blossomed in NFL in different systems. Nobody argue against USC.

I feel your pain:

Bo Jackson
Carnell Williams
Ronnie Brown
Joe Cribbs
James Brooks
William Andrews
Brent Fullwood
Lionel James
Rudi Johnson
Stephen Davis

Fullback is just as hard.

Cribbs went to Auburn. Never knew that.

Seeing a lot of players that I forgot what colleges they went to.

Does Wilson belong here? Played one yr for Wisconsin. I believe he threw for more career yards at NCST.

While during a chore I realized you left off Bill Bradley(2-way, QB, DB, WR & P, he had 4 INTs in one game vs, a&?). Jerry Gray and Nathan Vasher(both 2-time All-Americans) off the DB list.

Russell Erxleben was a 3 time All-American at P/PK, bust in the NFL.
Kenneth Sims DT, 2 time All-American and the #1 overall pick in the NFL.

Otherwise a pretty good list. IMO, the top RBs would be Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams and Roosevelt Leaks. I saw all of them play.

I stopped at Jay Barker. No Stabler or Naimath?

Well I didn't really get to watch any of these guys, so all I have to go off of is stats and what I've learned of these guys through older fans. Barker had the highest QB rating of the 3, so I went with him.

I'm glad you did it, because I was not even about to attempt it.

Not sure about Langham though.

I AM ANTONIO!

But seriously, he was good, but I think we can find better and it has nothing to do with him getting us in trouble.

Also not sure about Javier as a CB.

Yeah I started to put Castille there.

Not a bad list...but how do you leave Andre Davis off at WR and Eddie Royal off at PR? A lot of good defensive players left off this list....Macho Harris, Darryl Tapp, Jason Worilds, DeAngelo Hall, Jayron Hosley, Jimmy Williams to name a few.

I agree with most of those. There are a good number of DBs its hard to pick one. I do think Eddie Royal at PR should be there. Vince Hall is a name you could throw up there.

This was fucking tough.

Since 1914, Nebraska has produced 94 players who have collected a total of 108 first-team All-American awards. According to the NCAA, the Huskers' total of 53 consensus All-Americans ranks sixth among NCAA Division I-A schools and second among conference schools.

Probably gonna be some backlash from a couple Husker fans because this list is so ridiculously debatable.

Langham is a no brainer! Third most interceptions in a season (7). All time leader in interceptions in a career(19). Two time All American and he basically single handedly won the last 3 games of 1992 leading into the NC. Behind late against Miss St. he blocked AND returned the punt for a TD. Tied with Auburn at half, 0-0, he picked six to start 3rd quarter an go on to win 17-0. And of course the infamous interception against UF called "The play that changed college football" by ESPN.

Not even close. Langham is one of the easiest to choose!

So many great teams but this is one stout group! I loved Johnny Rodgers. If people didn't get to see him play they have no idea how electric he was!

I got pretty close with my roster. Click the square beside the logo for the teams, don't think they did lineman.

Tom Brady?? How does a guy that splits his time as a senior make the list? Grbac and Henne were both more productive as QBs.

They made some strange selections. USC had 4 WRs and no RBs?
With Texas they had Benson and not Earl Campbell? Casey Hampton , but not Kenneth Sims nor Jerry Gray. They didn't put much thought into the 5 player lineups.

It's almost like their lineups were from the 2000 season onward.
