Sad to see that not only has the resident duck troll of this board started almost every thread in the oregon board, but also the UW one as well.

Sure, there aren't many huskies on this board, but how sad is it for a fan to be so obsessed with a rival that they taunt an empty board? lol. Whole different situation to taunt a live person.

It's easy to jump on a bandwagon and there is no surprise there are so many duck fans on this board and on boards everywhere. Try surfing the UW boards on the Seattle Times. Some days there are as many haters as fans. We get it. 80+ years of being the doormat and now they take that frustration out while they can. I can guarantee you I never bothered to post on other teams sites/boards when UW owned it. Of course we taunted when we could, but I wouldn't taunt an empty board lol.

For all this talk about 9 straight all they have to show for it is year after year after year of telling us they are going to win it all only to again find a way to trip up and fall short. We get all kinds of fairly sound reasoning why this is the year they are going to take it all and every year that bubble pops. So what do they have? Stats on making it to a BCS bowl and how many Pac12 teams they have beat how many times. Doesn't fill up the trophy case, but it helps fill that hole left by all those NT losses right?

Everyone knows UW has been down. Willingham put the final nail and drove it 20feet underground. I love all the idiots who talk about how many 7 win seasons they have had and try to use that as examples of how limited this staff is. Find an example of any program in the country who went from a 0 or 1 win season to a 10 win season in 3 years. When you have such a depleted program it takes 5 years to clean house and get a full staff. It can then take a few more before the talent is stocked enough to take full advantage of all red shirt years available. This is college football 101. Sark has his chances to build and prove he can take the steps and the truth is no one knows what the results will be. What we do know is the program is far better off than it was 4 years ago and it is nowhere near where it needs to end up. I won't sweat the details. Those things will work themselves out in due time.

It's about time for some of the dawgs to come back and and get jazzed up for the coming season. A brand new stadium overlooking Lake Washington with nearly 70k seats sitting right on the field and still the roof system that makes it sound a lot more like a dome for the opposing teams on the field. This is going to be the best place in the Pac to watch a game and there is no other stadium in the nation with a better view. From the taste of changes last year and what we have seen in spring the defense is looking much more like the defense of old and they look to be ready to take that next step. Timu and Shaq are going to make headlines week in and week out. Sankey showed he was ready to take the ball and run with it and now has a lot more backup support. Kasen Williams and ASJ are going to burn defenses all over and unlike last year there are 2-3 other guys able to burn it up as well so defenses will not be able to double team like they did last season. And that O line that was blown up by injury last year has 7 guys with 5 or more starts under their belts and some young kids stepping up to play as well. This is the most depth they have had on the line in a decade.

Want to taunt us? Go right ahead. Just more words to eat like all those predictions on winning the national titles. For the fans out there now is the time to get back on the bandwagon before the good seats are taken. Your team is on the mend and all those top 20 recruiting classes are starting to bring some excitement back to Montlake.

Technically it isn't trolling if no one is here to respond... Think we can populate this board now? I'll look through & clear out the shit threads so that y'all can start from scratch if you want.

What a little pansy this husky fan is. Instead of just either replying in response to those threads (his team getting owned) as I think I just posted one each time Oregon beat uw. Or making his own threads about his team, he whines and complains and gets the board cleaned up, all 5 threads.

go sip on your latte and type on your MACbook Pro you pup.

OD, the reason why I moved them is historically speaking.... On the hoop, a true effort has been made over the years to keep team boards troll thread free, clever troll threads get passes on general boards. I'm sure many other posters have dropped threads into various uninhabited team boards over the years (im sure myself included) but if a board is about to be occupied, I think fans of the team board should be more than allowed to start anew within the board. That is why I moved a few of them... It's impossible to check every board for every thread, but when called to attention, we will remove them so that new guys can start over. Thanks for understanding.

OD. Show some sportsmanship or GTFO. You don't have many warnings left on this site, do you? Just thought I'd ask...

Seems I got under someone's skin.

Show me where I complained and asked anyone to remove anything. I'll go ahead and wait right .... HERE

I have no idea who the mods of this board are and NOTHING in my post asked for anyone to do anything. I said you were SAD for being so obsessed. Quit being such a douche ffs.

"Or making his own threads about his team" :wtf2:

Hello... This is my own thread about my team on the UW board.

Why you mad bro? Can't take someone calling you out? Can't take someone else responding to your taunts? Too bad.

All I did here was put up my opinion about trolls in general and what the status of my team is and did so in the appropriate place.

Further, I put you and any other duck on notice that as long as I'm here there will be no free lunch on attacks on my team. If that makes you want to curl up and cry then I'd suggest you find a new hobby and maybe try picking on the cougs or the buffs.

Now, if any duck wants to have a back and forth I'm all in. While I hate your team I have many friends who are ducks and respect several of the duck posters who came over from CBS. Want to taunt? Go for it, but from now on expect to get it right back in your face. Isn't that how it's supposed to work anyway?

It's pretty easy to do. It's too bad you weren't around for his guarantees of Oregon national championships the past few years. We all know how that turned out, LOL.

Well I wasn't here, but I've seen a few of them and noticed he doesn't man up and go back to face those threads when he is wrong.

We can all be blow hards and no one questions fans of a solid team having confidence, but you can't take yourself that seriously. Laugh and take it when you say something and are proven wrong. It's just football and this is just pixels on a screen from random people you will probably never meet.

There is no need to remove old posts. If a board is alive the drivel will fall off the first page over time and that's how it should be. Removing the trash only serves to ignore its history and let some of the haters off the hook.

I've ran a few boards in my day and I never removed any post or thread that wasn't against the TOS and then normally only the posts or even just the words that were out of line.

If the husky fans can't fill enough threads to remove it then it deserves to stay. I'm just going to point out how lame they are when they keep trying to add to it. Fair enough?

1. You see the difference between programs in Wizard's post. The expectations are much higher for Oregon and it reflects on the field. When Wizard said, "Don't take things too seriously, it is only football." Yes, for a 0-12, 5-7, 5-7, 6-6,7-5 type team I understand you have to look elsewhere for hope.

2. I noticed you said go hate on Cougs or Buffs...Although I have no problem with the Wazzu Cougars, in fact i like Leach...I strongly strongly disdain the Colorado FUcKInGG BUfFALOES. So if you hate them too, we might have something in common.

3. We will see if this board is ready for a resident fusky. Better grab your latte hooplans, shit is going to be entertaining.

If talking on a board is more than 'just football' to you then it explains a lot. There is no relation to that statement and what fans expect of their team.

I fully expect UW to take their rightful place atop the Pac North and if Sark can't do it within the next 2-3 years they need to find someone who can.

Even when we take back that mantle, I sill won't take people on a board seriously over a sport. Now that may indeed be the difference between us.

As for hating on the buffs, I'd have to find them relevant to hate them. I don't hate the cougs either. Love leach. Of course I like him more for his pressers than his actual coaching, but hope he is around for a while.

In the next 2-3 years I am interested to see how CAL does. They could become good again very soon.

Cal should improve, but they always have a handicap the other teams in the conference don't because of the school focus on academics over athletics. Not just in how that effects that athletes they can get, but part of Tedford's problems was not being able to pay his staff nearly what the rest of the conference was. That is why UW was able to poach their best recruiter in Tosh Lupoi.

Can Cal become a real contender for the conference? Well, people used to say that neither Stanford nor Cal could ever do that and look at Stanford now. Never say never, but the staff at Cal have their hands tied more than Stanford does and it would be a heck of a triumph to reach the top of the north.

the only reason I would say that CAL has their hands tied more than Stanford is because at least Stanford has current success to show and bring in recruits. But things go in cycles and to be honest, I don;t know how long this Stanford success goes for, I feel like it is running on fumes now after last year. Although they will continue to be good, I don't see them staying great for long as other programs do. If any other PAC program has had the success Stanford has had in recent years I would think their time at the top would last longer, but for some reason I just don't see Stanford holding the crown much longer.

Could be wrong though, I thought this year they weren't going to be as good as they were, but they found a way.

You are right about the academics though and lack of money for assistants. But we will see, they got a new stadium, new facilities, if Leach can conjure up a way with Wazzu's budget, no reason CAL can't somehow do it.

Wazzu is paying more for its assistants, but even then I'm sure Leach wants more. So far we don't know if Leach can turn that program around or not. I think it is likely they will improve and reach a bowl game if not this year, then by next would be reasonable. But Wazzu doesn't have the same academic requirements and can take athletes they want as long as they aren't full on retard.

Cal also doesn't have the same fan base as most of the rest of the Pac, including Stanford. Seems many on campus there have such disdain for athletics overall that it just isn't fashionable to root for football. They couldn't even sell out their opener for their brand new stadium. That was just sad.

Stanford is a tough one to call as far as down the road. Before last season I thought for sure they would take a step back and despite going through more than one QB they still more or less took a step forward instead of back. It wasn't just the Oregon game, but were it not for a bad call they would have beat ND on the road and that is no small achievement. They still have quite a few of the power players from last season and so far Shaw has done far better than anyone was willing to give him credit for. They didn't recruit many kids last cycle, but they did get quality and that's what matters most. They are still stocked for a run for the next few seasons at least.

I still see the North as finishing:
Stanford, but not undefeated. One loss probably.
Oregon. Not a major fall off, but a new HC and distractions could lead to a one or two loss season with one being Stanford.
UW. Still not up on par with Oregon or Stanford, but should be clearly above the rest of the North
4th place is a bit harder, but I'd still pick Oregon State. I don't think they will have the same success they did last year, but they should be better than Cal.
Cal would be my pick for 5th, but if Leach finally gets his team in sync all bets are off here. New coach and new system brings uncertainty.
WSU needs to get confidence in ANY QB and get that offense rolling to get out of the cellar. I think it is possible this year, but it may take another season or two until he gets a kid he recruits to run that offense. Halladay just might not be that guy.

Of course Oregon fans see it with Oregon #1 and Stanford #2. I'm sure I'd say the same thing if I was in their shoes. I just got bit by underestimating Stanford last year and won't have it happen two years in a row.
