Not easy to make because it depends on who declares
but it's fun to do
1. Michigan State-they couldn't close games last year, but they return about everyone so that will definitely change.
2. Florida
3. Louisville
4. Arizona
5. Ohio State- but Thomas is a big loss
6. Marquette
7. Wichita State- two key leaders are gone, but their final four run was due to a lot of players stepping up, this team should be really good.
8. Duke
9. North Carolina
10. UCLA- but don't expect them to go far in the tournament
11. Kentucky- I can't rank a team that lost to Robert Morris in the first round of the NIT in the Top 10, I just can't. Their recruiting class is great though and basketball recruiting usually doesn't produce many busts.
12. VCU
13. Gonzaga
14. Michigan- figured I'd put them in the middle of the poll, they could lose none or all of their top players, so they really could be ranked anywhere from number 1 to outside the top 25 preseason.
15. Colorado
16. Syracuse-lots of key guys gone, but they shouldn't fall too far
17. Wisconsin
18. New Mexico
19. Boise State- we could get a top 25 preseason ranking, this team really excites me
20. Indiana- they lose a lot, but they definitely turned the corner
21. Butler- just because
22. Harvard- noticed they only lose one player, watch out for them
23. Connecticut- them and Kentucky are the only non NCAA tournament teams in this top 25, though Connecticut only didn't make last years due to ineligibility.
24. St. Louis
25. Kansas- they lose a lot, but Self usually keeps them good
Teams that should be good but were not ranked because they didn't make the ncaa tournament: Baylor, Tennessee, Iowa, Virginia, Arizona State, Alabama(though they've been hyped for several years now and haven't done great), Stanford,
Others to watch: Kansas State, San Diego State, Notre Dame, St. John's, Georgetown, Villanova, and Oklahoma State
