Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this series. I rooted for the Caps but I'm sad to see Boston out in the first round.

I rooted for the Caps too but didn't really care either way.

I can't feel bad/sad for a team (or their fans) who just won the cup last year, really.

In fact, if I was a Bruins fan, I don't really think I'd be TOO upset either. I know this because I felt that way after the Giants won the World Series... did not care at all that they didn't do well the following year. /shrug

Pretty much this. Don't get me wrong... That really fucking sucked. And it really sucks to fall in line with the whole not getting far in the playoffs after being in the Final the year before garbage. But we/Nucks did.

Either way. Still a lot of exciting hockey left to be watched. Congrats Caps fans, it was a pretty fucking awesome series even though I think both teams didn't play to their potential. I'm really curious to see what we do to our roster in the offseason... There definitely seems to be a fire that went out in some players way too soon in this series.

Disgraceful.

We all have our own idiots.

After a nights sleep I again say Grats top the Caps fans. Our boys battled hard and came up short. We had our chance and missed. Was everything in a playoff series you expect..tight hard hitting games. Holtby was the difference and more so the Caps defense. They did not let us get anything easy.

Still bummed about the loss but we did win it all last year and the long grind of that combined with this season was probably too much to ask for.

Congrats to the Caps good luck going on, go get the cup. Sucks the season ended this early for the Bruins but that was the tightest series the NHL has ever seen. Holtby was great all series I didn't think he could do that.
