If the PTB in the NBA want to put an end to the load management issue all teams take advantage of...then they should once and for all put an end to scheduling numerous B2B games for all the teams throughout the season.

Do you want the regular season to last 8 months?

They should do 72 games like the COVID season but of course they never will

Players should quit being pussies.

There was a time when teams had 2-3 back to back to back games, flew coach and didn't stay in 5-star hotels.

So stupid to just give a game away in game 3 of the season.

Hate this new NBA

Stupid assumption to assume this players asking for games off. This on coaching/management & "analytics"

Dru Smith is getting way too many minutes for Miami.

Milwaukee on Monday but let me rest Jimmy/Love in game 3 even though 3 players are already hurt so now I have half of my rotation unavailable

This Wolves game is a perfect example of the downside of road back to backs.

Close game for 3 quarters and the team that played the back to back hits a wall at some point in the 2nd half.

Jovic and JJJ should have been playing more. Dru Smith is terrible.

They still wouldn't have won but i get your point. This resting BS is out of control.

Can't show up on the 2nd night of a B2B with 5 rotation guys out and think you can seriously win. Poor management by the Miami front office.

Caleb played opening night and no mention of him getting hurt in that game and you keep him out both games this weekend?

Expand on your players should stop being pussies comment then.....

I did. There was a time when players did that and there was no load management. They played 82 games too. Never said they asked for games off or even fewer games, but pretty sure they're the ones not wanting back to backs.

The '72 Lakers set a wins record that lasted almost 20 years and a win streak record that still stands. They had several b2b's and 2 b2b2b's during that win streak.

Of their 5 starters, Jerry West played the fewest regular season games...77. Wilt was 35, played all 82 and averaged 42.3 mpg and West was 33 and averaged 38.6.

Also, according to the league, analytics apparently no longer support load management.

And? What's the excuse when a team wins both games of a back to back?

Got it. Yeah players probably don't want back to backs so not disputing that but the organizations are just as pussy because they believe in these silly analytics. The load management from Oct-Dec should be an automatic fine to the team
