Chapman has been HORRIBLE on the second of back to back appearances. We, as fans, ALL KNOW THIS. Why in the everlasting fuck does the manager NOT KNOW THIS. What kind of IDIOT puts him back out there tonight, in the biggest game of the season, thinking he would suddenly do better?

My gosh Bochy you are a train wreck and your gutless STUPIDITY just cost your team a playoff spot.

We are a franchise literally defined by choking. It is what we do. It is who we are. These next days are going to be terribly painful for Ranger fans. Can't say you weren't warned.

And oh, Jordan Montgomery? Hope everyone enjoyed watching him tonight because you'll never see him pitch in a Ranger uniform again. And I don't blame him one bit.

And for what it's worth, Carters effort on the game winner was absolute garbage. Way to give it your all rookie.
That opinion is not with much.
Running on contact his best shot at a play at the plate was going to be in front of them on a shallow single. Roll of the dice

Welp. Keep trucking
Need the offense to come up Aces this game

Can’t let the ghosts of Rangers past come back to haunt
Cast them out!

The pressure is on every team

Come back stronger and with a vengeance. Redefine the team persona

He misplayed it. Had he taken a better angle that ball was catchable.

Your final AL West standings:

Seattle 89-73
Houston 89-73
Texas 89-73

And Toronto will finish 90-72.

Gonna be a tough winter. We were never going to do anything in the playoffs anyway with the worst bullpen in baseball, but man what an epic collapse for this franchise.

Again.

I might trust Sborz in the 9th more than Chapman.

Chapman imploded after the first two guys got on base. He comes apart too easy too often to be the closer. Leclerc should of started the 9th after a 9 pitch 8th. Botchy has made quite a few head scratching moves this year. How do you move Lowe back up to the third spot! 3 hits in his last 41Abs.

Fuck Aroldis Chapman. And Bochy as well. Chapman has been TERRIBLE for several weeks now.

Seattle has life. We gave it to them. And now we are going to miss the playoffs.

This is 2012 all over again. Getting swept last series of the season when we only needed one win.
Arizona’s best shot to knock off Houston is tonight with Gallen starting tonight. I can’t see the Astros sweeping the Dbacks.Rangers prob need one more win but with Dunning out of the picture this weekend a sweep is not off the table.Botchy made 3 big mistakes last night. Moving Lowe back up to the spot. Not starting the 9th with Leclerc and waiting until Chapman loaded the bases to bring Hernandez in.
That’s just bad managing.

After seeing him laughing and smirking at the other end of the dugout after Bochy pulled him I don’t want him on the team anymore. DFA him

3 frigging hits. You looking a contributing factor in this loss there were 2 major ones: an offense that quit from the top of the order all the way down to the #9 batter (and it wouldn’t have matter where Lowe was batting) and Chapman ( I would consider keeping Leclerc this offseason before Chapman)

And why in the world is Nate Lowe still batting 3rd? The 3 hole is supposed to be your best overall hitter. That guy is in a 3 for 41 slump in a pennant race. Why Bochy? Why? What the heck is wrong with you?

This narcoleptic offense is going to have to be fixed before we can hope to advance very far into the postseason. Figuring out who the main culprits are might not be that hard. Figuring out how to replace them might prove to be a very daunting task. Hopefully, they can figure out a way to solve the problem in the offseason.

Can’t come up with anything. The offense from top to bottom is pathetic and shuffling the order doesn’t seem to be the answer but let’s try it

You think Seager is seeing any good pitches with Lowe backing him up? Come on Bochy do better. That decision just reeks of ineptitude.

If we had Langford I’d put him behind Seager and then Jung followed by Garcia and Garver. Lowe and Heim and then Carter

Garcia, Heim, Dunning and Burke all hit Arb1 this off season. What do you think they get?

In their last 5 games both Seager and Lowe are 6 for 16 which is .316

Lowe is 3 for 43 in his last 10 games. 1 for 26 in last 6 games. Am I missing something? He has the lowest BA in all of baseball over the past week of everyday players.
