It's a low risk...vet minimum....not like he they would be paying him much....keep him on a short leash and cut him if he were to act up.

And nobody is saying a team with a bunch of youngsters....but on a veteran team? Doubt it would be a problem and again if he was....release him.

I am just saying…

There is a reason nobody is doing that.

It isn’t league wide collision. If somebody thought Cousins’ production outweighed his baggage he would be on a roster already.

When I have said Cousins should still be in the League....at the very least as a backup big, I have been told he is garbage and finished.

Wrong. I was told that earlier this FA period (by Shane I think) when I said I could not believe a team had not signed him.

Hell, I'll tell you right now he isn't NBA level anymore. Playing in Puerto Rico is not a strong sign of your NBA readiness.

That same summer, an arrest warrant was issued for Cousins on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge after his ex-girlfriend, who's the mother of their child, alleged he threatened to shoot her during an argument.

Charges of third-degree harassing communications against Los Angeles Lakerscenter DeMarcus Cousins have been dropped and a misdemeanor case has been dismissed, Cousins' attorney, Moshae Donald, told ESPN on Friday.

A warrant for Cousins' arrest was filed in a county court in Mobile, Alabama, in August following allegations by Christy West, the mother of their 7-year-old child. West had alleged that Cousins threatened to shoot her during an argument regarding their son. TMZ shared an audio recording West took of the incident, and she said the male voice heard was that of Cousins.

Cousins, 29, could still be subject to an NBA fine or suspension as part of the league's domestic violence policy. The league can undertake its own investigation, despite the absence of criminal charges.

I think his Son’s Mom should have let the boy attend the wedding as long as there was no history of violence towards the kid.

But, this is not the response of a normal person….lol

I don’t think it’s just the off court stuff either. You don’t want a minimum guy disrupting what you have going the first time he thinks he should be getting more opportunities.
