Yup, didn't cost a lot and first two Phillies starts outstanding.@msgkings322 , now I'm trying to remember, wasn't Michael Lorenzen one of the pitchers you thought would have been a good acquisition for the Giants?

It was against the Nats but he did throw a 9 inning no hitter today. Guess you just had the wrong (former) Angels' pitcher throwing a no-hitter today.Yup, didn't cost a lot and first two Phillies starts outstanding.
Yeah. Pretty much.My thought about a recent defensive alignment has come to pass (Flores at 1st) but not completely (Wade should be in left field and Pederson at dh). Would someone slap Kapler for every time he puts a knucklehead defensive alignment out there?
And there is no excuse about needing him to field. Boneheaded decision on Kapler. A good manager should know his players' strengths and weaknesses. This is a huge, glaring weakness.Yeah. Pretty much.
Cost us this game DIRECTLY.
Takes the pressure off the game. Allows everyone to rest, at least. And so much for Beck being able to keep the Angels off balance. I would have rather kept Manaea in for a couple more batters but the 2nd guessing could have happened there too.
Pitching is not why we lost tonightAnd so much for Beck being able to keep the Angels off balance. I would have rather kept Manaea in for a couple more batters but the 2nd guessing could have happened there too.
Didn't say it was. Lack of offense and a certain DH playing the field are the reasons for the loss tonight.Pitching is not why we lost tonight
