They couldn't. A government protected so called "non profit" enterprise which was exempt from antitrust laws. It was simply too powerful and too devious.

You honestly think the demise of the Euro Tour provided more opportunities for golf?

The event in Tucson today was a little disappointing. The course is not set up to be fan friendly. we spent more time walking to where we could see the players than watching actual golf. Its not set up well from years and years of playing the same courses like we see in the PGA events. And it was soooo crowded. So many people there, it was difficult to get around. I don't think they'll come back to this course next year even though it is gorgeous. Not enough opportunity to get great views of the players.

Tell me a reason why a player would have to play 15 tournaments in order to be able to play at all other than destroying competition
