Yep. Ben was right where he needed to be. If Embiid takes a different angle and/or moves towards Kawhi a step or so sooner, he could have cut him off and created a double team that may have forced Kawhi into a much tougher shot (not that the one he hit was easy).

As it was, he took the wrong angle and cut Ben off.
